1  Episode Discussion / Season 1 / Re: 1.04 - The Deer Hunters on: September 08, 2010, 05:51:28 pm
Never could figure out how Lane was able to keep her little paradise in that closet from Mrs. Kim.  It was really neat, though.  I think it was bigger than my whole bedroom  Cheesy

I always wondered the same thing. Surely Mrs. Kim would've gone into Lane's closet at one point.
2  Episode Discussion / Season 3 / Re: 3.07 - The Shoot Gilmores, Don't They? on: September 08, 2010, 05:39:13 pm
- She has a secret crush on Kirk but she knows it will never work because his love is reserved for the trophy.

HA! That one made my night!

The thing was, did Dean really love her for who she was, or was he just hoping her love of rules would keep her tied to him forever? He knew she was self-centered and driven, but he should have also known she would never cheat on him, even though she hated being a stereotype of a pinned girl.

Technically Rory did sort of cheat on Dean. SHE kissed Jess in the season 2 finale, not the other way around. That's cheating.
3  Episode Discussion / Season 3 / Re: 3.22 - Those Are Strings, Pinocchio on: September 08, 2010, 05:36:09 pm
Alright, I have a question about this episode.  I've watched it about 20 times before but this never occurred to me.  Maybe I'm missing something.

I thought they paid Emily and Richard back with all of the $75,000.  Lorelai even said to the Financial Aid office that they didn't have that money anymore.
Yet in this episode, Rory and Lorelai are constantly debating what to do with "grandpa's money"  -- buy the Dragonfly or put it towards Yale.  So how did they
get the money back?  Did Emily and Richard refuse it?  Was Chilton less than $75,000?  If so, Lorelai lied to Financial Aid when she said they didn't have any of
it.  I was just confused by this.

I always thought Richard & Emily refused the money. After all, the deal was they'd pay for Chilton and Lorelai & Rory would come for FND. I know Lorelai always said she was gonna pay them back, but they might've refused the money.
4  Episode Discussion / Season 5 / Re: 5.08 - The Party's Over on: September 08, 2010, 05:30:30 pm

it's shame he wasn't riding shotgun with big bro in the Impala though.  He could've went in the trunk, pulled out the shotgun

loaded with rock salt.

Then blasted Logan and his little demonic cronies, before leaving.

OMG!! Hah! That would be so epic!

6  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: Ask Ausiello: Gilmore Girls Reunion Movie - 05.23.07 on: December 21, 2009, 03:25:50 pm
Ausiello just came out with some more info about a possible Gilmore movie last month when he interviewd Amy Sherman-Palladino:

I really hope it happens! I want to see Amy's ideas on how GG should have ended.
7  Episode Discussion / Season 1 / Re: 1.15 - Christopher Returns on: December 21, 2009, 03:15:27 pm
Me thinks that was "Mama Pertrelli" from Heroes, who played  Christopher's mother.

Yes it is.  Grin Cristine Rose, aka Angela Petrelli, also played Chris's mom.

Aw lucky. My orthodontist has about 8 months until i go off to college, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. my mom told me that if they're not off by then, she's going to have him take them off b/c i can't come home from college every six weeks to get them tightend and stuff.
9  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: What other TV shows do GG fans watch? on: December 21, 2009, 03:06:25 pm
I like Glee! I've only seen the pilot though. Sad I'll catch it on DVD.

Yeah the show is really good if you're into singing/theater kinds of things, because they do break out into song a lot. It's really funny too. Plus, Kristin Chenoweth and Josh Groban were guest stars, always a plus.

And I've recently gotten into Samantha Who (because of Melissa "Sookie" McCarthy!) and Pushing Daisies.

I loved those shows too I'm so mad they both got cancelled!
10  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: What other TV shows do GG fans watch? on: December 17, 2009, 01:47:01 pm posts in awhile

I think Gossip Girl had some potentials when it first started but it turned out to be a lousy show in my opinion. I have two friends who were fans but stopped watching in the middle of the second season. It seems like the writers ran out of ideas.

I agree. Plus, it doesn't even follow the general plot/structure/anything of the books anymore. I mean, it didn't really to begin with, but now it really doesn't.

Does anyone watch Glee? I saw the pilot back in the spring and then watched this season and I'm absolutely obssessed  Grin

Hey guys I haven't  been on here in forever. How is everyone?
I just got my braces off today Cheesy

OMG I haven't been on in forever either! I think it's been at least over a year. You're sooo lucky with getting your braces off! I still have mine on, and my orthodontist said he'd TRY to get them off before I go away to college, but he's not making any promises.
12  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Reading Thread - Cause it's still sexy! on: December 17, 2009, 01:23:46 pm
Ok anyone got any opinions on The Awakening or The Five Dysfuntions of a Team? Sigh. Required reading.

Oh, I loved The Awakening!! Although, admittedly a lot of people in my class didn't, but I thought it was a really interesting look at women of the time period.

Speaking of interesting, my English class just finished reading Waiting for Godot. THAT was interesting.
13  Gilmore Girls / Relationship Threads / Re: Favorite Gilmore Girls Couple on: November 15, 2008, 10:14:32 am
Okay, my favorite couple isn't mentioned on the poll. And I think you can guess what my favorite couple is; that's right, Rory/Dean.  Shocked (I know, shocking isn't it?)  Cheesy

yay, more rory/dean fans!  Wink
