I actually love to clean. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and a mess just drives me crazy. I would have no problem with the job of being a maid, but it doesn't pay well. That's the problem.

Gilmore Girls / Appreciation Threads / Re: Lorelai Gilmore / Lauren Graham Appreciation

Couldn't find an Evan Almighty thread, so I'll post here.
I rented Evan Almighty through Netflix and watched the bonus features (sure has a lot), has some short clips/interviews with Lauren. They cut a scene of her praying with the kids, real cute, but I can see why it was cut (It was covered when she said she prayed with the kids). Also a couple deleted scene of her and Evan/Steve. Couple short funny clips and a short interview or two (can't remember if it is one or two). Then other stuff were she wasn't so much the center of attention. Not a lot, but still worth it if you have Netflix or another way of renting the movie without paying the 3-5 dollars.

Episode Discussion / Season 1 / Re: 1.08 - Love & War & Snow

My favorite part about this episode has always been how Lorelai has the "girl talk" with Lane. I wish they had more Lorelai/Lane scenes throughout the series, but maybe that would have been awkward for her to talk to her best friend's mom. It makes me wonder though, who else does Lane talk to on a regular basis besides Rory and Ms. Kim? It was also cool how they showed how much Lorelai loves the snow, seeing as snow and her have a fight later. I love the scene were she is talking about how the world changes when it snows because everything becomes quite and softens then Micheal hands her the phone saying that her mom is on the phone. I just love that scene. Aslo love the scene were Emily comes racing upstairs to ask Rory how to stop the beeping from the stove. Funny Moments! I can never watch the one part in this episode where Lane touches the guy's hair. It's so cringe-worthy and embarassing. I always fast forward through that part on the dvd until she runs away. I'm I the only one that does that?
My mom is like that too. She can't watch Lorelai's "I'm not getting married" speech during Lane's wedding. I probably have my scenes also that I could fast forward through, but I kind of like seeing the whole episodes, plus the scenes I don't like are a main story line. The whole drama with Dean/Lindsay.

Something I have always noticed about this episode is Rory goes to the downstairs bathroom, but in other episodes it is the closet. Just makes me wonder. Is the bathroom in the closet or something. Drives me crazy trying to figure it out. Sorry, I wasn't able to post earlier classes started a week ago and I find myself extremely busy during the weekdays and by this time most of what I would say, has been said. Hopefully, I'll do better in the future, I know I will once Logan comes, and most likely will when Jess first comes.

Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: You know you're obsessed with Gilmore Girls when...

My newest way of me knowing that I'm obsessed is looking what the characters wear during the episodes and photo shoots and then wearing similar outfits. I am horrible when it comes to fashion so I'm getting help from the Gilmore Girls
My past way of knowing I'm obsessed saying things like "That's like (insert character name)" or "I bet (insert character name) would love that!" on a regular basis. At least I'm not alone, my mom does that too.

Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: NBC Gives Lauren Graham Her Due - 09.18.07

I wonder what my family will think of the movie. It is so rare for us to find a movie that everyone will watch. With this movie I'm re watching it for Lauren. My brother is watching it for Steve and my mom is watching it because she will watch anything. I have to agree though, all Lauren's character did was take the kids. Wasn't a great movie, in my opinion, but not a waste of time to watch.
Lauren moving to NBC - I just found out yesterday. I was sitting in my business math class and during a break I decided to Google Lauren in hopes of finding an old news article about her that I never finished reading. Boy, was I surprised when I saw the NBC articles. Can't wait to see her show. Hope it is something that I like.
