1  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.22 - Bon Voyage on: June 04, 2007, 09:47:38 am
I was definitely disappointed by the finale. Things were not wrapped up to my satisfaction.
2  Episode Discussion / Season 5 / Re: 5.04 - Tippecanoe and Taylor, Too on: September 11, 2006, 11:53:56 am
What is Taylor if not Town Selectman? That was his whole character outside of grocer.
3  GilmoreGirls.org / Closed Topics / Re: Rude Messages from username Colin Farrell? - HOW TO BLOCK HIS PMS on: August 24, 2006, 08:02:52 am
If you want to block his PMs, click on your profile settings, on the left side, click "personal message options". Put his user name on the ignore list and click change profile. That should prevent you from getting more pms from him until he's blocked from the forum.

She didn't cheat on Dean with Tristan, they had broken up which is why she was sad. And when Tristan kissed her it made her cry because she was still upset over Dean.
5  Episode Discussion / Season 6 / Re: 6.21 - Driving Miss Gilmore on: May 04, 2006, 10:37:13 pm
I enjoyed this episode. There were some great one-liners and I enjoyed the sub-plot with Sookie & Jackson. I would have liked to find out where they disposed of the weed. Tongue These last few episodes have been the best of the season in my opinion. I was impressed by the reaction from Emily when Lorelai said that the wedding wasn't going to happen. She knew Lorelai was really upset about it, and she didn't turn around and blame Lorelai for it. I was curious to see how Lorelai would react to Emily & Richard's plans to buy her & Luke a house, considering that she just renovated her house because she didn't want to move. I was also impressed by how thoughtful E & R were, in considering Lorelai's love of Stars Hollow and finding out that the property could be adjusted to be part of Stars Hollow.

Oh, and I enjoyed seeing the Troubadour and am amused that he's going to be touring for Neil Young (which will explain his absence around town).

This sounds like an interesting idea. It could work, but it would be hard with so many members.
7  Gilmore Girls / Appreciation Threads / Re: Mrs. Kim/ Emily Kuroda Appreciation on: April 19, 2006, 09:22:02 pm
I love the Mrs. Kim character. It was nice to see her accept Zach even though he wasn't a Korean doctor. She's always been interesting, especially when she isn't just stopping Lane from doing stuff.
8  Episode Discussion / Season 6 / Re: 6.19 - I Get a Sidekick Out of You on: April 19, 2006, 09:20:46 pm
Also, I'm rather amused that the one time Mrs. Kim had to have sex she got pregnant. It saved her from having to do it more then once to have a child.

Thanks to you too. Smiley
Kukalaka are you doing a undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree?

It's undergraduate. I haven't graduated yet. But as I wrote somewhere before, nearly all students in Germany have to write a thesis for their degree.

I see. At my school, it's optional. I hope to do one, but not for a few years. Hope you get your mark soon.  Smiley

I loved this episode. Mrs. Kim was great. I was disappointed that there was at least no reference to Mr. Kim's absence from the wedding. Poor Lorelai though. She was bound to crack eventually.

Chapped lips? Put some vitamin e (i use a gel like form) on your lips before bed. In the morning, you're lips are perfect again.

In my HS, student council was nothing more than a popularity contest and whoever had the funniest speech was usually elected --- no matter what their talents or abilities to lead and manage were.

The same thing happened in my school student council (and also valdictorian).

If you dye your hair and get the dye on your skin, dip a cotton ball in milk and rub the cotton ball on the dyed skin. It will come off easily.
