Hey Alll! Hope you don't mind my random, infrequent visits here. Conrad--Yeaa! Your getting better, hey, slow and steady wins the race. And I was watching Because I Said So, and you randomly pop into my head. "Hm. Cute dress, Lauren. A bit lowcut, hm, guys must like that. Hm. Conrad must love that." Thats my train of thought. Lots of "Hmm"s. And the rest of you, don't worry, you aren't "Chopped Liver". Thing more along the lines of ground beef. Noo, I'm just kidding. :Hugs and Kisses: Uhh. Following suit, some pictures that made me think of popping in here in the first place. Lauren Graham's butt is the red one. Perhaps you should see the movie. (Sorry, its a bit blurry.) Another something hot. (Huh. How did this one slip in there??) Okay, okay. I can't find pictures of her in the movie easily. I'm computer challenged. Here is another: I'm done monopolizing your thread.

::hangs head in shame:: Okay. Fine. I forgot about this thread. And the poll. So here is an even more self centered one than before. Well, mostly just me being curious. Post with more details on what you think I look like. C'mon, have I ever fooled you for being a non-curious, non-nosy, non-pushy person? I think not. I am the cat, and I will be killed by curiosity. C'mon. Plllllease. Cookies for posters! Or prettysticks. What travels via email better? And Results:: Favorite Season..Why? Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: 2nd Annual GilmoreGirls.org Awards - Questions and Results
|

Phew! What a great, diverse list we have here. I really want to congratulate everyone who has won, nominated, participated, posted here on the ORG. As much as the winners deserve it, the ORG wouldn't be the place it is today without all of us, without the community. Stars Hollow wouldn't be Stars Hollow if it just consisted of Luke, Lorelai, Rory, Taylor, Emily, Richard, Sookie, Jackson, Lane and Kirk. Sure, it may be funny, but it would just be a weird group of people. Add in Taylor, Ms. Patty, Babette, Morey, Michel, Jess, Dean, LuLu, Paris, Doyle, Lucy, Marty, Olivia, Mrs. Kim, Louise, Madeline, Brian, Zach, Dave, April and Max, and that is what IS Stars Hollow. Not just the "big" guys, but the "little" guys as well. (Now don't go all technical on whos "big" and whos "little", and whos technically in Stars Hollow. 'Cause then my analogy is crap.) The ORG isn't made of just the winners, it is made of all of us. But remember, *hugs are for winners*, and *if you're not first, you're last*. (Totally kidding, Sara Silverman and Taledaga Nights, I do believe. Random quotes. Got it? ) After saying how we are all equal I feel fine in going:
Congratulations Winners!! [/color] Okay, more edits later. Don't stress. And, as promised, the edits. (Pardon the lack of names, ton of crap on my mind. Don't worry, I do know who you are. Well, most of you anyway. ) Or, should I go the way of Paris, and use the Nixon speech? Nahhh. Mel/Sooks-Ms. Congeniality and Most Optmistic. What else could a girl ask for? I love your spirit and WOOHOO in everything that goes on in the boards. You are incredible, never stop being you. HonkifuluvGG-Truly the master of the references. Some of them coming in from left field, admittedly, a few times, I don't know what your referencing! Hah. Anybody can whip out the old "Oy with the poodles already!", but it takes someone special, it takes you to pull out the ones that make me go and acutally think! :gasp!: Melissa-I love your signatures, and I am still amazed at the ones you have done for me in the past. Once you get past your baby carpel tunnel I am definatley going to come a knockin'. Copperboom!-Okay. Fine. I don't really know you. But I have seen your amazing work around the ORG, so for that you get props. :holds out a plastic sword.: Talkingfriend-Biggest Forgotten Character Award and[/] Most Creative! I never seem to remember the little annoying devil turned angel, glad to see she has somebody likes her. (A little bratty for my taste. But hey, it wouldn't be Sherry's kid without it. ) And Most Creative. Damn. If I could win that I wouldn't have had to kiss my art teacher's buttottie all last year. QweenB-:Bows down to greatness:. Okay. Thats over with. Most Unique, Funniest, Most Playful. All of these things point us in the direction of why YOU won the Most Like A Character(Lorelai) award. I'm more of the booknerdy Rory kind of girl. Congratulations on all of the awards you won! Melanie-Wow. First off a big THANK YOU, for everything that you do around here. Big shocker that YOU won Most Helpful. Hahhah. And All Around Best Member, an award that should be honored. Out of the 10,000+ members to be found on the ORG, we believe that you are the one who best represents us, who helps us whenever able, and who is fantastic! 1GiantGGFan-Most Random. Hah! That is just great. PicklesPicklesPickles. Okay. Phew. I love your crazy antics and your randomness, never stop it. (I admire you. ) Dani-Ahh, to be beaten by you. Nah, I'm just kidding. Most Opinionated, I must say that you are a very...errr..opinionated, for lack of a better word. Or lack of a thesauraus, or lack of brain cells. Whatever. I love opinionated people, seeing as I love to debate, being opinionated can only help. Janich-DIRTY! (Okay, I WOULD have said 'Nuff Said,' but you also won Mr. Congeniality, soo...) Mr. Congeniality, eh? Been watching some Sandra Bullock movies and felt left out? Just Kidding. It is great to see you win this award, because you do deserve it. It seems that I am just getting to know you by popping in and reading the Gilmore Guy thread, but everything you say is with an upbeat attitude. Not even being chased by rabid dogs, having to jump in a hole for cover and putting on a boot that is sure to attract the ladies could detract from your congeniality-eness. ShutupRob-I personally love reading your long posts. And you always have something interesting to say. Never Shutup. Sharon-I really have enjoyed getting to know you. You are a fantastic person. Always bringing something to the conversation, you fit into the ORG right away, and if I hadn't of looked at your profile, I never would have guessed you were a newbie. PrettyTownSpinster-Most Knowledgable Gilmore Fan. MKGF. There. I just shortened it. Out of the 10,000+ members on the ORG, you are the one who knows the most about Gilmore and the many great years we shared with it. Fantastic job on being such a smartypants, its the way Rory would have wanted it. Heidi-Most Remembered For Least Amount Of Posts. Phew. I get winded just saying it. Anyone on the ORG should know who you are, seeing as you created the great place that we all have come to know and love each other. We are like, one big family. However disfunctional we may be at times. I can say from all of us, THANK YOU! And Mom of the ORG-You take care of us like no one else can, with the contests and the cleanup, you truly are an amazing person.
I want to congratulate you all again, and apologize for my spelling, grammar, speech, typos, etc. etc.
WOOOOOO!

It's A Boy!!Melissa--First off, I want to congratulate you and Aaron. I remember meeting you on the board, and you are always willing to lend a hand. (Such as when you helped me with my English, created the signatures for the ORG awards, and so much more.) Even the little things you do don't go unnoticed. Anyone who gets to know you is truly a lucky person, and hopefully they can learn from you. Learn to be a bit kinder, a bit more helpful, a bit more like you. I wish only the best for your son. May he be healthy, happy, and a Gilmore Girl lover. May he follow in your shoes, learn from you. Your son is lucky to have such a great mother. Love you!! Okay. Enough "mushy" talk. GIFT TIMEEEE!!! First thing you look for at the party, the cake. May he find joy in reading, here was a favorite of mine: Some clothes so he won't be nakie: (Sorry its a tad blurry, but I think it says what I think it says... ) A blanket, because you can never have enough: And a few toys so he won't be bored: (No clowns. Who ever thought clowns were cute? (Uhh. I'm not scared of clowns. No! NO! Not me!)) (I want a Pooh themed room for my child...in like 10 years. Okay, so I'm just a tad crazy. But just a tad.) Melissa and Aaron-I wish you all the best with your son, and I know that he has two wonderful parents. Congratulations!!

Maybe he and Mr. Kim are hiding out somewhere and having the time of their lives! haha
DIRTY!! The infamous Mr. Kim...okay. Perhaps not, since no one has seen him. Creepy. I always seemed to think that Mrs. Kim was single, but quickly scratched that idea, seeing as "An unmarried woman dressed the way you dress..." (or something like that) etc. etc. Hah. Yeah. Okay.

And if it's Harry and Hermione who get together, I'm banning myself from ever reading again.
Uhh. I think I'm the only one who wouldn't care if they didn't get together. Hah. Errr. I still like Ron and Hermione. (Thinking back, the first book, I never knew how to pronunce her name. I said it like "Her-me-own." Not "Her-my-knee". If you get what I mean.) Hah. Rannnnndom.

I feel like this should go into the Reading thread... Sorry this is so OT. OT? I so wouldn't consider this off-topic. This is just a place for girls to come and chat about, well whatever we feel. And if we change our mind, so be it. We are allowed to do that. Hah. I am freaking addicted to HP. Sidestory Time!!: I saw the 5th Harry Potter (HP) movie last night, and holy crap, I loved it! Though it doesn't exactly follow the book, it was good enough for me. I wanted to reach out and slap Umbridge, I was about to throw my popcorn at the screen. (The cute guy next to me kept watching my little inner tantrum, so it wasn't to bad. : Who cares if he thought I was nuts...nice arms, nice eyes, nice teeth. ) And I won't give away the ending, if you want to talk about that little do-dad PM me. But hah. There were these random HYSTERICAL lines, that I think only I could catch. I have this really loud laugh, I can't help it. REALLY loud. As in the poor whole theater had to suffer loud. I would just start cracking up. : Whatever. I was having a good time!! OH. MY. GOD. The new Harry Potter comes out TONIGHT, right? ?? OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. Ahhh! Exciting. (I am not going to get it at midnight, no. No. Okay, yes! YESSS!!!) Enough of me.

I was raised on country, but I'm going into a lot more different styles now...
Plain White T's The Fray Rooney Brad Paisley Taylor Swift Carrie Underwood Queen Billy Ray Cyrus Rascal Flatts Panic! At the Disco Fergie
Rascal Flatts is one of the most amazing bands ever!!!! I've seen them in conscert twice. Taylor Swift is becoming one of my faviortes. I love her songs! Carrie Underwood, I've always liked..... I'm kinda the same way, my friends call me crazy because they know that I'm a country girl at heart. But then on my myspace profile I have songs like, "Lips of an Angel" By Hinder "Will I?" From the movie Rent "I Can Only Imagine" by- Mercyme "Louisana Woman, Mississippi Man" Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn "End of the Road" Boy II Man " She will be Loved" by Maroon 5 "Move Along" All American Rejects "Independence day" Martina McBride "Before He CHeats" Carrie Underwood "Rent-revised" By Johnathan Larwson "Your the One THat I want" Grease "Forever and Always" Shina Twian "Don't Take the Girl" Tim McGraw "Teardrops on My Gutiar" Taylor Swift"Your Still the One" Shina Twain "Out Tonigh" From Rent "Party for Two" Shina Twain and Billy Currington and "Here For the Party" Gretchen Wilson So that's my music taste at the moment. I. Adore. Taylor. Swift. And Brad Paisley. (Henceforth the sig.) I think that country music is by FAR the best kind of music to listen to. And I saw Brad Paisley in concert...I could have touched him I was so close, but he was playing his guitar and I would have looked like a fool. : Hah. Anywho. I am going to the Kenny Chesney concert in...one week!! Wooooot! Yeah. I'm done rambling now.

I just have to do this, dirty!! : I also loove Nicholas Sparks' books. Especially The Rescue, A Walk To Remember and The Notebook.
I adore The Notebook. I just fell in love with the movie, and then I fell in love with the book. I have read the book at least 3 times, and have seen the movie at least 10, most likley more. : Okay, okay. So I am a tad obsessed.

WootWoot! Happy Orgaversary Brenda! Partayyy!! . Hah. I love all of those nicknames. But right now I am 50/50 Headliner/Literati. One moment I adore Logan, the next I am enthralled with Jess. : Right now is a Jess week, most likely until the episodes on ABC Family stop playing the Jess days. Until he comes back and tells Logan off. And at the same time. Tricky. But I would never bash Jess, I adore him too much. And Imy, by the way, I friggin adore Grease. Okay. Back on topic now. Go, go.
