Hug and make up?  Cheesy I would prefer to support something that will feed children or clothe them, along those lines. Music IS important, but you can't practice music if you are starving and nakkie! But if the group chooses to support music, so be it. I'll do what I can as well.

As for www.freerice.com (Notice how I try to put that link in every post?  Grin), I say, HOORAY for all the ladAies. and gents. Okay. End of my rhyming cause apparently I can't. I used some words in a conversation with my English teacher the other day...and I felt really. reallllly smart. Who doesn't like that feeling? And I have donated so much rice, I could feed a nation. (Well not really.) Anybody want to set up the org riceathon? I can't guarantee computer times for myself or I would do it. Living in a family of five with one computer=cahos. But I would like to see that done. Any takers??

I'll do a little researching myself but I absolutly refuse to do ANYTHING related with the U.N. I'm sorry but I have a firm stance on that....

I am sorry to hear that. Any reason? If you feel like sharing. I can't wait to hear some of your ideas!

Hey. Did you hear about www.freerice.com all of you others? I hear its a fantastic website. C'mon, what is better than free vocabulary (SATS, work...the list could go on forever, I'm to lazy.) and saving starving children? Its hard to beat, especially since it is FREE. Smiley

We should organise a big GG.rog freerice thing somehow. Like, have a big competition, or like a spelling bee type thing. Something like that, cuz that wouldn't cost any of us anything!!

I agree definatley. a www.freerice.com athon . Say, set up an hour or so, and see who can raise the most total? Or even a shorter period of time. And one of our sigfairies might be interested in making winning/partipation sigs? Just tossing some ideas.

::slaps self in head::

What the heck was I thinking? I haven't been on this forum in, oh, forever? I totalllly missed all you! And thank you for using that site! I am so glad that we are spreading the word. I have a couple other charity options I've seen, I don't know if they are up our alley or whatnot, but it can't hurt to look, no? Lasting options seem best. OKayy. My computer is apparently having a spat with me, probably since I've ignored you all. Anywho, that means I can't see my favorites. The only website I can recall off the top of my head is the one below. I'll get back to y'all on the others.

http://www.heifer.org/site/c.edJRKQNiFiG/b.3538797/?msource=kw2001&gclid=CMm97P_8-5ACFTyKOAodVX6p3A

Hmm..go there. I don't know if that link works, if not, go to www.heifer.org
Browse around, see what you see. I don't feel like typing a description, as I don't know a heck of a lot about it. Okay. I'll be on later. Not that you would know when later is. (I've also picked up a bad habit of rambling....anywho.)

Kate- I'm so sorry about Helen's dad. I understand what you are going through, at least to a degree. My best friend's mom passed away this summer, and I understand what you are saying. For me, the worst part was figuring out something to say to her. Most of the time we didn't talk, and later she told me that my company was what she needed most. My condolences (sp) to Helen and her family.

Sarah, I wish i knew about hair curling, lol. I'd help ya out. I'm actually the opposite, I need my hair straight. Although its hard to keep it that way.. it usually frizzes. (BTW, I like your sig. Smiley I adore Taylor Swfit. She's been nominated for a grammy! Best New Artist.)

Ahh! Merci beaucoup! It isn't the best artwork, but it is one of my first, so I'm proud. Tongue Taylor Swift is amazing, I really hope she wins, have any idea who she is nominated against? My hair doesn't curl at all with a curling iron...::big dramatic sigh::.

The last thing I need is for my boobs to grow. In one year my boobs went from a small B to a small D. And I hate it. Boobs are a hassle, if you ask me. Smiley

I don't see why its wrong to go on the pill for things other than birth control.  If it wasn't a "birth control" pill, would it be wrong? Should they keep the same ingredients, but name it something else?

But I have an important question. How do you curl your hair using a curling iron. I tried, and all I get is this werid lil' 'flip.' I need step by step instructions. Think "The Idiots Guide to Curling Hair." Smiley Thanks!

I've been using soap, and it works the same for me. Good thing, saves a ton of money.
However, my problem is my nose. It is red all the time, and oily. No matter what. I always have tonsssss of blackheads and...pimply stuff on my nose. Basically, it is all oils trapped under the skin which my white blood cells are coming to 'save' me from. (Is that like what happens? My teacher told me it had something to do with w.b.c....I have no idea honestly..clarification and advice would be great.)

::mouth hangs open::
Friggin AMAZING wallpaper! My school did that for the cover of one of our yearbooks, but it was very simple...a basic picture of the school front. A blue sky, a little brown building, light cement stairs, dark cement parking lot...nothing that intense. I bow at the feet of the master.

Finallllly!! I got a Heidi poll right! Woooohooooo!! Smiley New one? New one? New one???
28  GilmoreGirls.org / Announcements / Re: Heidi's Soapbox: News, Opinions, and Things You Never Wanted to Know on: December 04, 2007, 03:07:10 pm
Heidi promises to answer the poll tomorrow.  Heidi also promises to share a super-cool new Gilmore Girls wallpaper with everyone tomorrow.  (Made by none other than the Graphic Wonder -- so you know it's fabulous.)  Heidi also, also promises to stop talking in the third person.

The end.

~Heidi

Heck to the yes! I have been waiting for this answer for about....oh..forever?! At least thats how long it felt. (Though it you want to get all technical on me, no one can really feel forever....anywho.) I'm looking forward to this new wallpaper. Smiley Mhmmm. As for the talking in the third person, I must say, rather amusing.

Elezabeth, I watch Gossip Girl. I acually don't like chuck so I think that b and him shouldn't be together. I think b and nate should be.

I'm a fan...Tongue. Well, Chuck is okay. But I don't like Nate with Blair...they seem to only be together for family face. S and B are good friends it seeems, but B can be a little back-stabber!! I adore D and S together. : (Its so weird how they always use letters....Tongue)

Anywho, I am off to this school function--the hypnotist! Some of you *might* remember me talking about this...oh my gosh! 1 year ago already? It can't be....anyway. Sorry, but I will update later..Smiley No promises, I'll try, it depends if me and my friends go out after or not. Kiss Love you all!!! Smiley
