Ha! Kind of.

Have you ever gone to a concert that you were embarrassed to tell people about?
2  Episode Discussion / Season 6 / Re: 6.11 - The Perfect Dress on: June 04, 2009, 05:29:38 pm
When Jess said it, he meant it.  It's just too bad that they can't really be together since Luke & Lorelai might be getting married... again (if they want to in Virtual Season 9).
A lot of people think that it'd be so wrong for Jess and Rory to get together after Luke and Lorelai are married, but why? If Lorelai and Luke were married since Rory and Jess were kids and they grew up like family, then I'd understand why it'd be gross. But they didn't. There would be no blood relation whatsoever and they were together once before so I really don't see the problem.

As for Jess, he said it to unburden himself before he left. Which was actually quite cruel - like when you tell someone something that you know will upset him but will make you feel better, and you do it regardless. What did he think she'd do with that info? Take comfort in the fact that he's left 3 times now but it's ok because he "loves" her?

Since there's no way to be definite with his intentions, if that were true, would it be out of the question to be understanding about his situation? He was a kid, wasn't graduating, and to top it off, his dad, whom he's never met, showed up for a surprise visit. He was overwhelmed. Was he right to just take off? No, but is it possible that he really does love her and his his telling her that wasn't some kind of selfish act? If he didn't then he would have no reason to show at her dorm later in the season to ask her to go away with him (since he would have then been burden free if that were his intention). My reasoning for him driving away after telling her he loved her is that he's a proud guy. He believed the moment he told her that, "the ball was in her court".

I have seen the trailer and it looks good. I'm definitely excited to see the differences between Catherine and Chris' directing. I love Laurent's look in the trailer, too. His eyes are sick! And Taylor is ripped. *swoons* What do you think of Jake's transformation at the end?

This thread on the second page? That just won't do. I am here to revive it.

Kam- Ah, Amp Radio. Have you adjusted or is it still a little painful? Seen any movies lately?

It's been so long since I've posted last. I miss you guys.
Graduation is approaching. I actually just went to Grad Night on Wednesday and it was so much fun. My school went to Six Flags and we usually go to Disneyland. There's a big difference between the two; at Disneyland you dance all night and at Six Flags you get on the rides. So me and my friends danced for a total of ten minutes and then jammed. Cheesy There were practically no lines for all of the rides (and it will never be like that again!) and there was still no time to get on everything. The park is huge!
Oh, I'm a little bummed. I went to Comic-Con for Twilight last year, as you know, but I won't be attending this year. It's SOLD OUT! I didn't know when the panel for New Moon would be so I didn't know what day to register for. Now look what's happened. :Smiley Damn the lack of publicity!

I should crash, it's late. Hearts

Heidi is in another country? lol
Dido.

Man, it's been a long time! What is going on? There are no people, there's no action. Huh

I saw that commercial on ABC Family too, but it didn't even occur to me that it could be an eighth season. I just assumed it was the seventh.

Mel, you've never heard of Ne-Yo?? Oh my gosh, he has such a great voice and he's just an amazing performer. It was at Club Nokia (in L.A.), so it was small and intimate. From anywhere you had a good view. I was in general admission so we had to stand which was terrible because it was three hours before Ne-Yo even came out. There were two opening acts. First there were these chicks Electric Red (eh) and second was Keri Hilson (I liked her). Ne-Yo played all of my favorite songs! It was a long wait but so worth it! The only way it would have been better is if I were in the pit, where the action is. Grin

Here's a pic of my view:

Pretty close, huh? The quality's not too good, I took it on my friend's phone.

Mel, here's a song from his latest album (Year of the Gentleman): Miss Independent

Kam, I think I might have to take econ. again. I won't know until next week but for crying out loud, it's just awful! Cry
No, I haven't watched the Uninvited. I watched Quarantine when it came out, though. I liked it, but I don't know if I like the way it's filmed. I guess it makes it seem more real but sometimes I can't see what's happening.
I watched He's Just Not That Into You, lol. And I am definitely watching Friday the 13th this weekend!
Wait, did you say boyfriend!? Tell me more.

Later. Hearts

I haven't seen Revolutionary Road yet but had heard that the book was great too.
Revolutionary Road was automatically one of fav movies! I went to watch it twice. Grin I'm reading the book right now.

Kami, what class are you taking?

I just finished up with first semester. No more evil economics! Yay!  I'm going to see Ne-Yo in concert this Sunday to treat myself. So excited! Dance

I'm probably going to see it in San Francisco too, or New York. Oh, I want to see The Phantom of the Opera too. You should go. It's not sold out is it?

Alright! A new poll. I went with the cheese thread. Cheesy

Kami, did you get to see Wicked again before it left?
10  Gilmore Girls / General Discussion / Re: Movie Thread on: January 14, 2009, 08:25:49 pm
I didn't pay for the ticket though thank God!
Did you ask for your money back or something? Cheesy I'm a fan of the books and I like the movie, but I didn't think it was great.

There are a couple movies that I'm looking forward to. The Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which I am so pumped for! And Revolutionary Road. I love Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. I think they're both phenomenal.

Holy smokes! I was nominated for something. Totally didn't expect that. Kiss

I like both "Let Me Sign" and "Never Think" by Rob. I needed the lyrics though, I didn't understand a word he said. Cheesy

Taylor seemed so pumped about filming the rest of the movies so it sucks that he's not, and I really like him too. But hopefully this new guy does a good job. I hate when they change actors on us, though.

the worst part of the movie besides the sparkling skin. I'm sure you know, lol. His puke face during the first biology class! Oh man what were they thinking? It is so hilarious though!
It was! They should've just had him tense up instead of that combined with covering his nose. Cheesy

I haven't watched any of the Harry Potter movies or read the books, so I want to read the first one to see if I like it.

Oh my freakin' goodness, thank God!! You guys have no idea how hard it was to read all this Twilight talk and not be able to be a part of it. I have big news! I was at the camp I go to's annual Christmas party last Saturday, and while I was leaving I met Michael Copon. Me and my mom weren't sure where we knew him from, but it didn't stop her from calling him over and asking if he's famous. Cheesy So we're asking him about his work and stuff, then he says he's gonna be Jacob in New Moon. Shocked

My favorite scene is when Edward has to suck the venom out of Bella's blood. I love Carlisle's authority and how Edward can't stop but when he looks at her, it's like he wants to but he can't, yet he knows he has to at the same time. That's what I love about it. I really like Robert's song that plays during that scene, too.

I like Kristen Stewart. She seems so laid back and down to Earth. And I like her style. I just think she over thinks things because most interviews that I've seen, it seems like she has trouble answering.

A couple more things: "Hubba hubba"? Cheesy Laura, you're alive! Kiss

Hey Mel, school is school. I'm doing okay, finally getting it together. Horror Nights, you know, at Universal Studios (Hollywood). I guess I could have been clearer. It was fun and I scare really easily so I loved it. The only thing that was a little disappointing was The Strangers. They didn't do much.

No, I meant I was gonna watch Religulous the same night I watch Saw V. I heard it wasn't that good but I haven't watched it.
