We need a graphic representing "Here Comes the Son" by 8pm ORG time on Sunday, November 16th.

Celebrate  I'm so going.  I heard about her being on Broadway the day the news broke (because three people called me telling me about it knowing how I'm the hugest of Lauren fans!) and I knew right away that there is no way I'm missing the opportunity to see her live.  Besides that, I absolutely adore Guys and Dolls!  The plane ride is simply too short to pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity.  The timing is slightly unfortunate as I'm already going to Australia in June (& meet Caryn and B hopefully!!!), but que sera.  You gotta live your life, right?  Yay!!!  2009 is shaping up to be quite a year!  Celebrate

On November, 4th, 2008, Rory Gilmore stood in Grant Park in Chicago as the man whose campaign she had covered for the past year and a half was elected the 44th President of the United States.  Exhausted and exhilirated, she listened to President-Elect Obama's speech and couldn't believe that her first real job out of college had led her on such an amazing journey.  She called her mom in the middle of all the craziness to share the experience and to tell her that she would be back in Stars Hollow soon for a well-deserved break.   Smiley

Hi everyone,

Well - it's autumn with a vengeance here in Michigan!  The only way I cope with the impending doom of winter each year is to take pictures of pretty trees.   Smiley

Sadly, there were no entries this week for "A Tale of Poes and Fire", so yours truly quickly came up with a graphic.  However, I know there are tons of people out there with way more of a graphics gift than I have!  There is so much talent on the ORG.  We hope everyone continues to make wonderful graphics for each episode as it comes up!!!  Please, please enter everyone!!!

The Viewing Party - Season 3 Episode 17
A Tale of Poes and Fire
Official viewing time: Tuesday, October 21st, 2008
(8pm Org time, or the equivalent in your US time zone.  Internationals please view it at your earliest convenience)

Summary: When a meeting of the Edgar Allan Poe Society at the Independence Inn is interrupted by a fire, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) must find rooms for the guests at various homes around town. Forced to give up her own room, Lorelai spends the night at Luke's (Scott Patterson). Trying to decide among Harvard, Yale and Princeton, Lorelai and Rory (Alexis Bledel) make an extensive list of pros and cons for each school. Luke worries that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) may be skipping school when he learns that Jess has been working a surprising number of hours at Wal-Mart.

As we did not have any entries this week, I went ahead and quickly made the above graphic.  Please enter everyone!!!  We are now accepting entries for Season 3, Episode 18 - Happy Birthday, Baby.  Lorelai celebrates her birthday in style with mallowmars and the largest pizza in . . . well, a very large pizza.   Cheesy

Happy viewing guys and gals and we'll see you in the episode thread.

ROFL - My, wherever did you get the idea for that hun? Wink

Well, it's the strangest thing!  People send me this Little Miss Chatterbox book and they're all:  "Hey, this book makes me think of you."  So weird! Ha - but the joke's on them because I have now lost my entire voice completely due to the lovely weather changes around here.  I shall henceforth be known as Silent Shell.  Not at all related to Silent Bob, by the way.
