This was a GREAT interview.  SHe was so professional!  And I loved her line about not doing anything else.  Gilmore Girls: The Musical.  SHe cracks me up.

I'm really very sad about this.  Now what will I do on Tuesday nights??
3  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.20 - Lorelai? Lorelai? on: May 01, 2007, 06:26:41 pm
Lorelai never drove a truck... She had a jeep.  Luke drove the truck.
4  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.20 - Lorelai? Lorelai? on: May 01, 2007, 06:22:39 pm
Quite honestly, I thought this episode was one of the best all season.  DR was right on the money tonight except for 2 things:
1. Too long of commercial breaks.  I tape it w/o commercials for a friend, and my VCR clocked about 40 minutes of GG.
2. The way it just... ended.  Reminded me of the 5th season finale when Lorelai asked Luke and he was just looking at her.

I thought it was a great episode, though.  All season I've felt like most of the episodes were filler, not really moing the plot along.  Boy, did this move the plot along!

OMG.  Did that make anyone else cry??  Lorelai FINALLY got to confess her feelings for Luke!!
7  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.15 - I'm a Kayak, Hear Me Roar on: February 21, 2007, 04:29:55 am
I loved, loved, loved the "Canoe/kayak" allusion that Emily made.  Too bad she had to be smashed to compliment her daughter.  She made quite a turnaround at the end.  Bummer for Lorelai.
I LOVED Miss Patty and Babette.  The Beagle and the Hen and the Rooster.  That's great.
Mitchum's an @$$.  Why does he expect ROry to play Puppeteer??  Andto want to even work for him.  (Although, her pick of any paper in the country is nice!)  I hope Logan can solve this buy out business without losing too much money.
Luke says they're just friends, but he knows he's meant to be with Lorelai...  C'mon already!!
Oh, and I can't wait for the Babies Kim (or whatever Zack's last name is...)

They're saying that Alexis is really the only holdout.  And if she decided not to return and they kept on wth the show, I would stop watching.  Seriously.  It's not Gilmore GIRL, it's Gilmore GirlS.  I would love an 8th season, but only if everyone is on board.
9  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.14 - Farewell, My Pet on: February 14, 2007, 06:18:55 am
I agree with a previous purpose that most of the rest of the episode was filler...  And i HATE it when they make the trailer appear like something big is going to happen but the editing is what made it look intense, when whatever it is really happens it's nothing.  (note: I'm talking abt. the voice over about Rory and Logan.)  I'm actually enjoying Logan ont he show.  He's much better now that he's grown up and has a heart.

And I LOVED the preview for next week.  It wass hilarious, I thought.  A great way to intro the episode.  :-)  I don't think that Luke and Lorelai will reconcile till the 27th of February, if I may add my speculations.  February Sweeps, guys... They're gonna drag it out as long as they can.
10  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.12 - To Whom It May Concern on: January 31, 2007, 10:34:42 am
Oh, how I have missed those adorable Gilmore Girls.  I haven't hated the season so far, but this definitely redeemed it.  The writing was fantastic, and I was so excited to see Lauren's name under "Producer."  Yay!

I thought that Chris overreacted slightly about the letter.  I think he should have been mad about the "father figure" line (even though it's true) than about the fact that he thought it was a love letter.  I think that on some level Lorelai has always loved Chris, but not in a "I want to be with you forever" way.  Them getting married was not in good time and a huge mistake.  I'm a Luke and Lorelai fan all the way, but I really hope that they don't get back together.  At least not right away.  Lorelai was a b**** when she went and slept with Christopher that night, and I think Luke might still be hurting about it in some way.

Tray sledding.  Ha ha.  I live in St. Louis and we don't really get that much snow (except this year... lots of it), but I think it would be so fun to do some tray sledding at my school!  I love that Rory had Paris come along.

THe beginning was great.  I knew they hated the quail.  You can tell.  Ha, and when they get outside and said they would throw it out when they got to the bridge but they had to make sure every piece got in there or Emily would drag the river.

Paris is fabulous.  I loved her character at Chilton, all high strung and everything.  That high strung character kind of dwindled for a bit, but she's back!  And better than ever!

I read that Melissa McCarthy is pregnant and that they were writing it into the show, so it didn't surprise me.  But I was surprised that it was this episode.  I expected it later in the season, maybe towards the end of Feb.

Edward Hermann was impeccable at the end of the episode.  We're always talking about Lauren never getting nominated, but why hasn't this man been nominated for an Emmy??

12  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: Will Gilmore Girls Go On? Get the Inside Dish! - 01.25.07 on: January 26, 2007, 09:46:44 am
Kudos to Lauren Graham for sticking by Alexis.  AND for realizing that Gilmore Girls is NOT Gilmore Girls without Rory.  Season 7 seemse to finally be turning around.  If it continues to turn around and find its original, GREAT course, I'm excited for an eighth season.  It was looking bleak, but I really hope that the slump that the Palladinos left us with is over.

The flashback re: rory and a dead horse was only mentioned, not actually shown.
14  Gilmore Girls / Show and Cast Member News / Re: If anyone knows of any reason she isn't marrying Luke ... 11.14.06 on: November 14, 2006, 07:20:26 pm
THis season is definitely the worst (I would even put season 4 in front of this one).  But, alas, I'm a devoted fan and will see this show through to the end.  I still have hope that it will pull through.  I just hope it's soon so we don't face mid season cancellation.
15  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.06 - Go, Bulldogs! on: November 09, 2006, 02:42:20 pm
1.  I loved Lorelai's "message" to Emily.  It was absolutely HILARIOUS.
2. I loved Rory at the end: "You have reservations at Chez zhi-whatever."
3. What is with the swim coach?  She said her ex boyfriend got crazy.  I think SHE is the one who went crazy.
4. April's calling Luke "Dad" now??  There goes any hopes of her going away.  I also found her a million times more annoying than  I ever did before.
5. I agree with whoever said something bad might happen to Lane's baby.  She seemed kind of...  out of sorts...

Overall, I enjoyed the episode.  However, I've also been enjoying the whole seasson.  I just wish Luke and Lorelai would get back together.
