I think I like doing the screencaps. For some reason, I get more out of an epi if I have to pause it every ten seconds. XD

Mmm, and I love shipping Lorelai and Emily. So much in common, so little understanding. Even when Lorelai felt a pang of sympathy over Emily's dissing, she quickly got sidetracked back into their feud when Jason asked her out.

*snort cough* Umlauts!? ROTFL Makes me wonder how "Digger" got his nickname.

What got me (since there's no clear lead-in for the Kirk-Luke paradigm... yet) was Rory's ongoing struggle with the saga of only-child moves into dorm. The conflicts of her roomies illustrate how much difficulty Rory is having learning to live with people who aren't bending over backwards to support her academic ambitions.

At the same time, each person in the dorm is like an internal part of her, from Tanna's innocent brilliance to Janet's fierce competitiveness. And of course, her old go-to dark side, Paris. This is a funny time in the series. Just as Rory is learning to temper these characteristics, they are on display in front of her as social and academic obstacles. Primo metaphysics, man, I love TV!

I absolutely love this insight.observation lessa.  You are so on the money there!!  I want to pick your brain and study it so that I can analyse like you do.

I have yet to rewatch the episode although I do remember it well enough I would like to view again before I make further comment.

Oh, stop, you're making me blush. <3

I've always had a knack for Kurt Vonnegutting literature, this is way more fun and meaningful. Don't get me started on how much GG has in common with The Fountainhead.

Rory looks so cute, love her college look.

Paris is hilarious, Tanna adorable, but Janet scares me. Embarrassed

R0TFLMA0 at Kirk obsessing over his date to Luke.

"If I was Tom Cruise, where would you seat me?"

"In an acting class."

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

please get Jason off my screen, he's a creepy little bridge troll.
