Here's my write-up Cheri Smiley

okay, okay., I'm warning you, Iv'e had about 5 hours sleep in the last 3 days, and I'm rather hungover, but I will try remmeber everything
So, Helen made me get there super early (5pm) and wait outside ina line with all the crazy fans, including those who think it's a good idea to dress/do their hair/makeup exactly like Pink. Despite actually looking nothing ike her, and being somewhat overweight.
Anywho, as we went in the doors we were like6th in our row) they were asking 'can you stay after?' and we're like 'what?' and they're like, are you able to stay a little while after the show? We're asking the first 600 people through the doors. So of course, we said 'fuck yeah' and got an extra pink wristband that says 'Pink', and got told to leave the arena, then go wait at Gate F after. More about that later.
I WAS RIGHT AT THE FRONT!
I was against the barricade about 3/4 of the way down the runway. Unfortinatly though, the section I was in was too far away from the stage for her to touch my hands though
Umm, she started, it was cool, then she sang Who Knew, and I'm sure it wasn't on the fucking set list, and I wasn't ready for it, and started crying
When she was going up and down the runway, she was literally about a metre away from my face.
I couldn't see muc happening up on the stage , though, but it's all on the DVD. I got filmed heaps of times, and at one point the camera was right in my face, and I poked my tongue out and put up my fingers (devil horns), without thinking, so hope that's not on the DVd.
During the acoustic bit, she had her back to my section, and her jeans were falling down when she sat on her stool, so we could see her underwear, she stood up to pull them up, turned around, looked right at me and grinned and said 'oh man, I"m showing you my bum!'.
We threw a lemon onstage that said 'we've got scurvy' on it, her back up singer picked it up and made sure Pink read it, cuz she was getting distracted by all the other stuff, and she goes 'oh, god, you guys didn't see that did you?' and we're like 'YEAH!' and she's like 'I got talked into doing a thing for Spongebob' Secretly, she mustv'e wanted to, why else would she? It's not like she's jsut starting out and needs any gig she can get!
Ummmm other highlights...
Bohemian Rapsody fucking rocked.
During Glitter in the Air, she missed one of the higer notes, and I was singing really loudly and she was standing right in front of me, and her voice fucked out (her voice sounds really fucking tired), and I think she heard me singing, cuz just before she jokingly did the note, she gave me a look of 'yeah, you got it!!'
And from then on she kept smiling at me, and I can tell it was me, cuz she had to look like a foot below everyone else
She also was smiling at me when she was singing the rest of Glitter, and also when she was on the trapeeze for Get This Party STarted (the camera was in my face for that whole fucking song, by the way).
Helen's just uploading pics, and I'll post them. They're super good cuz she had her professional camera she snuck in.

So, afterwards, we went round, they brought us back in, and there were like 50 people and they told us to stand around the stage again, and then Pink came out, and this time there were hardly any of us, so it was so close!!

She had to record 'One Foot Wrong', cuz she hadn't performed it but wanted it on the DVd, so us super special peeps got to see a song no one else did!!
And again she kept looking at me.
They were figureing out where in the set it would be and they're like 'after I Touch Myselfl' and she's like 'oh, after I've touched myself in front of a thousand people? Then I'd be sweaty'
And started Pouring and rubbing water on her boobs. Yup, I pretty much died.
She performed it twice, talked a bit, then that was it, and we went and I got very drunk, realised I'd been awake for like 25 hours so went to the hotel got about an hours sleep then got up to come home!

OH OH and after the secret special show, she ran offstage to CAREY!!!! Who was in the wings
I think she's gained some weight since the pictures from earlier in the year, which is good

It was AMAZING!!!!!

Promise I will post pics later!

Ohg, I ws right near the water bit for Glitter in the Air, and I got drops of Pink water on me

My computer(s) got stolen. Still dont' have a proper laptop back yet!

Kate, sorry that your computer(s) got stolen.  That has to be a nightmare.  I hope that there isn't too much personal stuff on it that can be stolen, too.

Your night at the Pink concert sounds amazing, although I don't know how you survived it.  No sleep and then the drinking.  I am glad that you did and that you had such a great time.  That is really cool that you were one of the super special peeps who were able to stay behind and be a part of taping that last song.  I assume that Helen was able to, too.  That had to be crazy fun.  And to have been so close to the stage during the concert and having her connecting with you through out the concert and being filmed.  If you have any of my luck, the sticking out of the tounge will be on the DVD.Cheesy  You mentioned a DVD.  Is this one that will be available for purchase?  If so, where is it that you saw the concert and when will it be out on DVD?  Oh, and will it be available here in the states?  Would like to see the concert and instead of playing where's Waldo, I can play where's Kate Tongue  If there is a way for you to send some pictures, I would really love to see them.

Well, you answered one of my questions that I was going to ask you, if you and Helen were still together.  You hadn't mentioned her so I was wondering about that.  I am glad to hear that you are.

Can I still write you at the last email address that you gave me just a bit ago or would you rather me not use it since your computer has been stolen?

I went to the orthopedic specialist a couple of days ago and I am set to go into hospital on November 10th to get a total knee replacement.  I am really not looking forward to it, but if it will eventurally make walking easier and less painful then it will be worth it.  I wish that it could be done sooner so that I don't have to worry about it for so long.  I have to go through some tests before I go in to make sure I am able to have the surgery and go to a class where they explaine everything that will be done and what to expect from the time I go in thru physical therapy which will be here at home until I am able to get in and out of the car easily (about two weeks) then I will have to go to a physical therapy place, hopefully close to home.  They say that it will be about six weeks after surgery before I will be able to drive.

Yup, DVD will be out in September, it was filmed in sydney, Australia. thriving on no sleep and alcohol is my one andonly talent, which is why I need to be a rockstar Smiley

i'll post some pictures on here in a couple days, okay?

Yup, still with helen. (Just). Smiley

Yup, you can write to that email , Ill get it!

Woooah, I am soooo achy. I had circus on Monday, and toootally rocked the trapeeze, but have ended up with bruises and rope burn all over me. And all my muscles ache, and then I just had ballet, everything hurts!
But on the plus side, now my arms are nearly as buff as my legs, and I'm gettin' a six-pack!!!

I should get some sleep, cuz I got a lab tomorrow!!!!

Lots of love, please stay in touch sweetie!

Thank you.  I just hope that my knee will hold out until Nov. 10th.  I am begining to think that it might not, but hope that I am wrong.  My friend went to the same doctor and she is doing great so if I come out the same, it will be worth it.  At least it will be when it is starting to get cold and gloomy outside so I wouldn't be going out that much any way.  My only concern is, my mother in-law had it done about four months ago and she said that she had to walk so far each day.  She lives in an assisted living apartment building so there are a lot of halls for her to walk down.  I just have my one tiny hall.  I don't know how I will get all of that walking in.  I guess I will figure it all out when the time comes.

I hope that I will be able to get the DVD.  I will probably spend more time trying to find you than watching Pink. Tongue

Ouch!!  Glad you totally rocked the trapeeze, but wow, what pain to do it.  Aches, bruises and rope burns.  Glad it is you and not me, I have enough aches and pains of my own.  Sad  Yikes and then ballet.  I hope you are feeling a bit better, at least.  Sounds like the figure is benifiting greatly from it all.  That is a big plus.   Have you been doing any new stuff in circus since the trapeeze?

Not much has been happening here.  It got really hot for a few days but it is cooling down a bit again.  It was up in the 90s.  YUCK!

My niece, who is now living in Seattle, Washington, came home last week for her 10 year class reunion from high school and the family all got together at her parent's house this past Sunday.  It was great seeing her again.  We had just seen everyone else on the 4th of July, but we haven't seen her since last Thanksgiving.   It was a hot, but nice day.

Take care.  Loads of Love and hugs

Oh my God! Shocked  I am so glad that it was only complicated migraines. (what does the complicated mean in this senerio?)   That had to be some major pain for you to have to go to the hospital and to have them think that you had a brain hemorrhage or tumour.  I hope that you start feeling MUCH better REAL soon.  ULCH, a lumbar puncture.  Not fun at all.  Take it easy hon and feel better soon.  Kiss

Oh, Honey, that is terrible.  I just went and read up a little on hemiplegic Migraines and it really sounds terrible and really scary.  How long have you been getting these attacks?  In what I was reading it said that it starts in childhood and usually goes away as an adult.  I hope that is the case for you.  I some times get migraines, but it usually starts with prisoms in my eyes and if I take a couple of Ecotrin right away it stops it.  The prisoms will get worse, but then go away pretty fast after taking the tablets.  If I don't catch it in times, I will get the migraine and it usually lasts two or three days and all I can do is try to sleep until it is gone.  It gets so that I can't do anything else without feeling like my head is going to explode so I make sure I always have some Ecotrin with me at all times to stop from getting it.  I guess I am really lucky that that is all that my migraines are.  I really worried about you before, but now it will be worse.  You need to really take care of yourself, okay?  Is the damage to your arm really bad?

Well, I hope that you are having a good now and that that has gone away for now.  Hopefully for a long time.  Take care sweety.

This is the first attack thjat I had, I had about 3 attacks over 2 weeks, the head pain's still not gone away, I think it's basically a regular migraine, but it's just more severe and then you get the paralysis as well.
I can't take any NSAID's which are the usual prescription for migraines because you can't take the with lithium, so I have to go figure out what t o take in future to deal with it.
I think there's not much you can do with these ones, unfortunatly, so I gotta make the most of my time now! Cuz if every time I get an attack I end with as much damage as this one caused, I'm gonna be unable to use my limbs soon!
I have no idea how often they'll come, it's different' for everyone Sad
ffor now, I gotta study,  I have exams and I'm way behind cuz of all the time I was in hospital for!

Check up soon as to what you can take to try to avoid these or at least minimize them, if there is anything that you can take.  I sure hope that you don't get them very often.  Hopefully this will be the only time.  It is really crazy that you are just now getting them because, as I said, I read that it is something that starts earlier in life and it is something that you grow out of.  Now I didn't read more then three sites so I am sure there is information that I missed, but they said that there wasn't any perminent damage from the attacks.  I hope that they have diagnosed it right.  I am sure that there are more different side effects that can happen that I didn't read about.
Does this mean that you can't continue with your circus class?  I hope that you can still do it.
Well, I will let you go study so that you can catch up with what you have missed.  Take care.

They can occur in adults, it says on wikipedia that they don't, but that's why you don't always trust wikipedia!!
Yup, they leave permanent damage if the attacks are particularly bad of frequent. They can also occasionally lead to coma or death, but I'm ignoring that Smiley
Yeah, there's a few things you can take to prevent, it's just a matter of figuring out what I can take along with lithium and stuff, should be going to a clinic soon to figure that stuff out.
Well, I'm going to circus tonight, so I guess I'll find out!!

I didn't go into wikipedia because they aren't all that reliable.  I am so sorry that this is happening to you.  It really sucks.  I can't wait until you go to the clinic and hopefully they will find something that won't interfere with what you are taking now.  I know that is the pits sometimes.  I really hate watching the comercials for meds because all of the side effects from taking them sounds worse than what you would be taking them for.  That was a little off subject, but it just crept into my crazy brain.
Yeah, I think I would try to ignore the side effects that things can cause, especially if they are really bad.  Just have to hope that that doesn't happen.
Let me know if all goes well at circus tonight.  I am hoping that it will.

Hello, hello, hello!

It's been WAY too long since I've been here and for some reason, tonight, I thought I'd stop by.  I can't promise coming by again anytime soon but man, do I miss things here.  I just had to stop and check it out.  It seems that many people haven't come around often but had to let someone know that this place still holds a special spot in my heart!  I hope hat everyone is doing well!  Take it easy...enjoy life...and don't fear the reaper~

Muah~  Kiss

EDIT:  Ooooo, I just remembered how fun giving pretty sticks was...at one time, so long ago!  ;-) Sorry, just had to add that.  Alright, off to go check out the rest of the forum before heading to finish some homework.

Oh and if you haven't seen...Sons of Anarchy on Tuesday nights...check it out!  Well, maybe after watching season 1 if you haven't seen it yet.  It's a fantastic show that I never thought I'd get this into.  Doesn't take the place of GG but it's a pretty good show with a great storyline.  Alright...off to do a few more things before the show starts...hey, it's something to fill Tuesdays again, maybe?!  Except this is the last week I can see it because my friends that live next door are moving and I don't have cable...damn!

Hi Mel,  It is great to see you here even if it is just for now.   Well, I get to talk with you in emails so that is even better.   Still haven't checked out Sons of Anarchy.  How rude of your friends moving so you can't watch the show any more Sad Cheesy.  Hopefully you'll get new neighbors soon who are nice and you can become friends with and they have cable.

Kate, Love to you, too.  Hope the migraines are gone and you are doing much better.

I really do miss all of the talking together that we used to do here.
