She probably would have cried herslef to sleep the night before and sookie or rory would have seen her that way and calmed her down a bit and then Luke would be there the next morning ready to elope and she wouldve eloped with him. But that is way to simple a storyline for GG.
What if: Lorelai got pregnant with Chris/Lukes baby?

when asked if he would take lindsey as his lawfully wedded wife dean would hesitate, then say,"i'm sorry, but my heart belongs to someone else" and then run down the isle and romantically kiss rory and then ask her to marry him. OR rory would just sit there and watch dean get married and feel kinda weird but still happy for him. lol
what if rory had kept skippy the hamster or whatever his name was and then brought him to yale?
