hello, i am new on this forum. i'm from slovenia and we watch the fifth season on the croatian TV (but i am downloading the 6.th season right now). just wanted to say that i really like lauren graham, i think she's a great actress and i really like her character. i really like her dating luke, they're great together.

I absolutely love Gilmore Girls & especially Lauren Graham. This is one of the only shows I NEVER  miss an episode of. However I read something the other day. and was soooo disappointed I wanted to find out if other Gilmore Groupies knew about this. I read on another board, I think at E Online, that someone quoted Lauren as recently saying she "couldn't wait to get done with that d@#$ show." I really hope she was misquoted because it's really sad to think of her looking at the show like that:( Do any of you know if this is true? Sad Cry Undecided

It is true. I've read the same thing more than once. Though we all hope she is a fan of her work, it is her work. Its only expected for her to want to do new things.

I Love Lauren Graham she is an amazing Actress and person who I would love to meet someday.

I really hope that Lauren didn't say that, I always thought she was proud of Gilmore Girls and enjoyed doing the show.

Enjoying and loving the show, sure, but should she make her entire career a stock one? Her excitement to be done is to branch off to other roles. I can only sympathize and understand. Plus if the writing continues to be as lackluster as it has been lately, it couldn't happen soon enough.

aww i hope she didnt say that, she should be proud of her own work which i am sure she is. buh it is troo, taht she shouldnt limit her career to jss this show. i absoulutely ADORE Lauren Graham, she is one of my favorite actress of all time nd i really love seeing her in other movies where she is different from lorelai buh still as good. she is soo good playing Lorelai, its like design for her. She is one of the main reason i watch the show in the beginning, its would soo soo awesome if i can meet her some day. a grl can wish cant she?

I hope that Lauren wouldn't say that, but it doesn't bother me that much if she did.  As long as her feelings don't interfere with her acting, it is fine.  I'm sure she wouldn't mind branching out a little, but those articles aren't usually that reliable, and I wouldn't doubt the fact that she didn't actually say that.  Now I usually just ignore it when I hear things like that because we will probably never know how she actually feels about the show, people usually make a big deal out of nothing for the sake of publicity or attracting reader, people love drama right.  As long as she keeps up the awesome work that she's doing I'll be happy.

I'm not overly convinced myself. Heck, an article like that presumed Rose McGowan had been taking drugs at a party (she hadn't). But her opinion is her own.
