I personly did not like logan at all he always was getting Rory into trouble some how and his family acted like they were the only important people on earth. Him and Rory made a cute couple but i never did like them. Reamber in the last episode when Rory tells logan she cant marry him because her life just got started. well i thought itwas very mea when logan said it had to be all or nothing, i think he could have at least waited until she was ready. I think logan huntzberger is a total JERK.

P.S. i know that there are a lot of fans who like him and i hope no one will get mad at me for saying what i think.

I have been analyzing Logan and after watching some episodes again, I have realized he is a terrible boyfriend.

He is so rude in the episode where Jess comes back and shows Rory the book he wrote.

He broke up with her through his sister (sort of, I couldn't quite tell if he meant to or not), and then, sometime in the couple months they were apart, slept with ALL those bridesmaids of his sister's.  I know they weren't together at the time, but he sure didn't waste any time.  Going on a date would be fine, but SLEEPING with them?  And not just one, but A WHOLE BUNCH of them.

After she finds that out, she only takes him back because she feels bad that he got hurt and was in the hospital.  And because he was so supportive when Richard had the heart attack.

Maybe this should go in the relationship thread, I wasn't sure.  Sorry.

I think the show slowed down when Logan showed up!

Well, when Logan showed up, I think that was when ASP was trying to renegotiate her contact with the WB or CW or whatever and was ready to drive the show into the ground.  But that's just my opinion.

I never liked Logan.  He was the Yale version of Tristan.  He was snobby, and he brought out Rory's worst side.  He also lacked any real drive to do anything with his life, he was reluctant to follow in his father's footsteps but stayed with it.  And it's not that Logan's stupid or anything; he's smart (or else he wouldn't have gotten into Yale, unless Mr. Huntzberger had to make a call and talk with Yale alumni), but he doesn't know how to properly apply himself.  And when he tried to strike it out on his own, he failed financially.  Kind of reminds me of Rory's good-for-nothing father.

second.. he is not a jerk!!!!! he's sweet and he loved rory not like that freak of jess that bailed on her 3 times!!!!
and third ..i don't blame logan for saying now or never... he was right!!!!! if rory wanted to be a journalist and travel around the world... how could she expect logan to wait 4 her till she was done!!!?? Huh Huh
She wants it to be "wide open"??....well tough love baby!!!!

I personally never liked Logan. He was the perfect stereotype of the self centered rich kid that was always getting into trouble and looked for daddy to bail him out of trouble. He also enjoyed bringing everyone else down and he brought out the worst in Rory. I'm glad that Rory chose to establish her carreer first and turned town Logan's marrage proposal.

Logan did however bring in a change of pace where Rory was always the goody goody perfect girl though. Even the best of kids get a rebel streak in them and fight with there mom (& dad).

Yes! Exactly! I mean, he was cute & rich, but so not perfect for Rory! I really wanted her to end up with Jess! I kept thinking that's why Jess kept randomly re-appearing in the later seasons & that that's maybe what Amy S-P would've wanted...    Logan was a jerk, reminds me a lot of Tristan, obviously the same stereotype that tries to woo Rory by giving her a taste of their world...

I also dislike Logan. Haven't got through all the seasons yet but I'm disliking more and more as I watch more episodes with him in. He doesn't suit Rory in my opinion and there's something distrusting about him

I really dislike Logan.

He is so not the right person for Rory.

Here in the UK we are only on season six, this is with an episode every weekday.

Today it was Rory's 21st, and i thought it was really not right that Logan didn't even know it was her birthday coming up.. I'm pretty sure that they've know each other longer than a year, if not, why hasn't he ever asked?? Sorry, but this really irked me.

It always seemed to me that she's only with him for his looks.. and daring characteristics (Jess, anyone?), other than that i dont think they have anything in common...

I really, really dislike logan..

I totally agree, I was thinking this myself when I watched the same episode today. There doesn't seem to be any chemistry at all with them and every time I see him he makes my skin crawl. Extreme I know  Cheesy but I just don't like the guy

Hi guys... I am totally with you on this. Here (in Holland) we have had the entire series but are on the reruns so I still regularly see the Logan episodes still (they are doing the series from the 1 series in the evening, and the later epi's in the morning which can sometimes be a bit confusing..  Grin ). Eventhough Logan does evolve and change a bit himself I still think exactly like you that he; s in the end not right for Rory as they seem to have very little in common characterwise. I agree with you that it seems to be more the danger-reckless aspect that attracted Rory in the first place and his looks, and his need-to-be-tamed womanizerness - maybe even his money, not so much for the money but more for the status (Although Rory is not materialistic in the sense of money-eager she loves luxuries and being pampered, and also she seems to like status - inherited from her grandparents perhaps). In the end one might ask what they truely have in common.
Jess and Rory did not have all these kinds of adventures but may have later once they both have matured, and grown up. At least they had plenty in common to talk about.

Just today I wrote a similar observation ito this not having in common- however bearing in mind it is over the whole of the series perhaps it may contain a spoiler for the ones being on series 6 so be aware of that but I wrote it here in case anyone is interested  Smiley

By the way I think you will really enjoy episodes 6-8 'Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out' and 6-18 'The real Paul Anka' ..  Wink It probably won't help your dislike/ hatred of Logan though...  Grin But it does attest to what you are writing here exactly.

Rory: I am dancing, I can not control where my glance goes, and when I can control it, my glance goes to Dean.
Jess: So you can't control it when you look at me, but you have to force yourself to look at him. [to Dean] Sorry man, that's cold

i like logan a lot, EXCEPT when he is a complete jerk to jess. i think rory and jess belong together, but on the show they can't have luke and loralai at the same time as rory and jess, because that is a bit weird.
