Ok, I know I'm new here and currently watching the show on ABC family early in the 4th season.
I think it would be a good idea after reading the posts from all of you and the mixed reaction towards the seventh season.
I think a GG film released theatrically would be a great idea.
BTW, any idea on what it should be about?
I know it has to have the Luke/Lorelei wedding which is the big thing. Anything else on what it should do like resolve things and such?

Hey GGFans,
I've been doing some researching. Trying to find out how to get to a webpage or writers/producer sites to share the feelings of some of us (if not all) who would love to see Amy Sherman-Palladino's closure to the Gilmore Girls and know the true ending and those infamous final four words of hers. I think we were all cheated
with season7, not being written, produced, directed or even with any input from Amy &Dan. In TVGuide interview, I think it was, Amy said, " I won't say no, because it might happen. But I can't see it right now." and in another interview on EW.Com, an interview when Amy was plugging their(w/her hubby Dan) new sitcom on fox in the fall, The Return of Jezebel James, it was mentioned the doing of a Movie
for GG's it was quoted, '' And, nodding to the possibility of a Gilmore movie that would allow for that ending, Sherman-Palladino added, ''We've talked about maybe, sometime in the future, doing a song-and-dance together. I rule nothing out.'' So, I've been trying to find a thread, site, anywhere to let the Palladino's know
, we, the fans would be ecstatic and, we would follow and WE ALL would get the ending the series deserved and they deserved and, the fans deserved. So, if anyone knows where/how to go there, please share. Oh, and by the way, I will be watching the new sitcom, especially since Parker Posey, one of our own (MS Girl) will be main character. Oh, and Scott Cohen (Max)
will be her love interest. Cya there.

i found out that Matt (can't pronounce last name) is also possibly going to be in the movie but AS-P still dosen't know if Rory should meet someone new or if she is going to bring back one of Rory's old flames...i think that she should bring back Jess...
Yeah I think if they make a movie, Jess should come back. Beside the fact that hes more on her level that any of her other boyfriends, he is without a doubt the best looking one. I thought both Dean and Logan were ugly. Thats what I think.
I really hope that they make a movie. I know there has been a lot of talk about it. Lets just pray that it happens! The finale was not enough for me. If they could keep Gilmore Girls going for the rest of my life that would be nice to.

If they're going to do a film... when should it take place? There has to be some on info on what happened between Season 7 and the story in the actual film.
There has to be some kind of prologue and such on Lorelei & Rory. Plus the other characters.
It's obvious who else has to be in this film: Luke, Sookie, Jackson, Richard, Emily, Lane, Paris, Kirk, Taylor, Zach, Doyle, Michele, April, and many others. And of course, Jess.

All the cast of GG seem to Love Amy, so hopefully if they decide to make the movie they will all say yes. I guess the sooner it done the better, not just because we want to see it so much, but mostly because the more time that passes the more they will need to explain things. Man i hope they do it, i mean i haven't even seen season 7 yet, but i know not to be too excited about it and im not planning on being content with the ending.

Same here... I'm on the 4th season and I'm a newbie. Yet, I'm really liking this show. Now I can see why it's gotten some indie cred.

If they did do a movie, Jess most likely wouldn't come back, due to his breakup with Alexis Bledel. They might do it, but it's unlikely. Also, Milo Ventimiglia has said he's done with the show and doesn't want to come back.
