Sarah Jessica Parker was interviewed at Sundance Film Feltival and she said they are frantically finishing up the 'Sex and the City' movie so that it can be done for a May '08 release.

if they really had a movie it would be great i would literally watch it everyday! i mean i was so upset not knowing what was going to happen with rory or about lorelia and luke...there was so much not said and i want to feel like i have closure with GG i know it sounds korny but still!!!

But does Sex and the City even compare to GG or its situation?
I think it would be hard to compare Sex and the City to Gilmore Girls...but I would love a full length in the movies but like I said something is better than nothing. |

I went to the show today and saw a poster for the "Sex and the City' movie and thought that it would really seem weird to see it on the big screen. I probably will wait to see it when it comes out on DVD or comes to cable. I then got to thinking about the 'Gilmore Girls' movie and I think that I would feel the same about it. They were both on the small screen to start out and that is how I feel they should end. IMO. Don't get me wrong, if, I mean when they make the "Gilmore Girls' movie, if it goes to the big screen I will so totally be there and probably many times. I just think that it should be a made for TV movie. One that will then go to DVD.
