I know this seems like a terrible time, and I agree. But what kind of fans would we be if we let the entire website go to ruins? Depression everywhere, sadness, and those little sad-smileys that I know will be generously overused. Remember all the great and fantastic times of our Girls? Everything from "Because I love you, you idiot!" to "Luke, will you marry me?" Seven entire (well, two episodes shy) of great lines, great characters, and overwhelmingly, great love. I know we still all had our hopes that this day would not come, but somehow, it has. Does that mean we stop perservering? No! We can still type, write, and mail our thoughts and feelings on to the head folks at the CW. Let your voice be heard. Show them (or, tell them) that you think this is outrageous! How dare they take away the one thing that gives us pure joy, in a nice neat one-hour package every Tuesday? Its absurd.
And we still have two episodes left. Whether they are great, sappy, or just plain wacky, embrace them. Love it like you've never loved it before. And be obsessed like you've never been obsessed before (if you can go any farther..)! In Omnia Paratus!

The press release said they'd give the series a send-off the fans will love, but how can they?? They taped the episodes BEFORE the decision was made --unless they go back and reshoot  I'm still in shock and can't believe they are doing this to us. Stories have power, and the ending is very important --how can they not leave us hanging with only 2 epis left, and what will we do with the ending we have to live with ?? |
