Well if you have them on DVD, I think farwelling Alana is probably best! Sounds like fun. Perhaps you should leave your telly on channel nine, you never know - that one TV might give GG the ratings it needs  Roll Eyes.

It will be interesting to see what happens with GG's ratings this summer.  Rating season is over, but the networks still keep an eye on them during the offseason, and against 'weaker' opposition it has a chance to gather a following, although 6.30 on a Saturday night may not be the greatest time slot.  Daylight saving in the sourthern states means barbeque's, parties, sport and outdoor entertainment.  I get the felling channel 9 have never really cared about this show.

I too get that feeling. I agree about the 6:30 time slot, 7:30 I think will do it justice and at 6:30 on ten One Tree Hil is on - which adds to the competition. So hopefully they look over the ratings and give it a 7:30 slot - fingers crossed.

7.30 on Saturday Night would be nice.  7.30 on weekday night would be better.  Never happen though.

Went to the game instead of watching the girls.  One of the few times I was glad to do so.  There was more drama at the game than an entire series of the Gilmore girls.
Shortly after the start, the stadium was evacuated because of fire.  One of the light fixtures caught fire, and they thought it best to evacuate the entire stadium in case it exploded on the players or spectators.  While waiting outside for the game to restart, we witnessed a young kid almost getting struck by a car.
An hour later the game was relocated to a nearby basketball stadium which only holds about 100 spectators.  Anyway 700 odd were cramed into and watch a highly entertaining and at times spiteful game.  One of the Adelaide players look as if she threw a punch which was very un-lady like.  Anyway it ended on a positive with Canberra winning.

Just place an order through DVDPacific for Gilmore Girls Series 5.  US$42.00 plus postage seems like good value to me, especially with the Aussie dollar hanging around the US$0.75 mark.
The last three times I've ordered the either GG or The Pretender (another favourite of mine) I have received the goods before the official release date.  Hopefully this continues.

I'm liking these double episodes, getting us to the end of season 4 very quickly.

So what did everyone think of the episodes we saw on Sat? I felt bad for Luke when he was fighting with Nicole and then when he found out she was cheating on him. Poor Richard losing his mother. Plus all the Rory going on spring break was funny.

I love the springbreak episode, I think it is hilarious. Finally Rory gets into some teenage trouble!  Cheesy
Yeah double eps are great. This week it is from 7:30 to 9:30, I like that slot better than last weeks.

Thanks Left Field for that, I think I will get the fifth season - I can't always trust channel nine, I am still convinced they are putting double eps on to quickly get through the rest of the season and then are going to dog the fifth season (fingers crossed they don't though).

As will all of us, then it will be like WW10 on channel nine, I'm guessing they have been through like nine wars already.

I really like these double episodes, it makes the fun last longer. Poor Richard, and his mother dying. I liked the comment near the end about the hello kitty braclet, that they put on trix (spelling?). The wrong socks, and ordering socks in bulk sounds exactly like the thing Luke would do, i can't belieive nichole was cheating on him, it was a big suprise. Well another double episode this saturday, and it should be good.

Just received notice from those lovely people at DVD Pacific.  My copy of Series 5 is flying out tonight, along with a few films I've also ordered, and should arrive on my doorstep Thursday or Friday next week.  yipee
