Yeah I don't get why ten didn't buy Gilmore Girls, especially since i'm sure it is common knowledge that atleast half of the audience for Smallville, OC, One Tree Hill etc. watch GG! Roll Eyes

what is yourTV.com.au? i went to the site. isnt it just a tv quide?? Huh
Does it say somewhere that they are showing gilmore girls?? I would be very happy if it does!!!
But is that in NSW?? and what channel?

Sorry if i sound a little incoherent...im excited to hear of GG being aired in australia!! Smiley

You don't sound incoherent, trust me compared to some of things I have posted in the last three years you sound like a regular scholar.
Hopefully we will start to see some promo ads for GG if it is returning in December, if you go to ravenb's link it should come up with the season 4 eps coming up.

I think it's weird that the ep before 'The Reigning Lorelai' isn't up because we didn't see that one, I saw it today for the first time because I just got the DVD's (sorry just had to throw that in, I am still excited).

when was the last time GG was on aussie tv?? the last i remember was about 2003 maybe?? and they stopped showing it in the middle of season 3... if my memory serves me correctly..which it might not!!!

It must have been maybe early last year when they stipped it? Roll Eyes My memory is pretty rusty, but I know that here (NSW) they stopped it after episode 14 in season 4, which sucks!

Oh yeah, cheers to VCR's!! Love them!

I saw Wolf Creek last night. Disturbing film, but really well done - hopefully it picks up a few AFI's, I think it is nominated.

Christmas is coming soon, how exciting.

I must be the only person in Australia who found this film boring and rather uneventful.  Mind you I've been a horror buff for over 20 years, so maybe I'm a little desensitized to these kinds of films, but there a dozens of European films from the 70's and 80's that still give me chills (Suspiria, Profondo Rosso, Tenebre or anything else from Dario Argento pre 1990).  This one did nothing for me.

Also, fantastic to hear the girls are back on TV.  I've spent the last few weeks basking in the Sunshine Coast sun, having a little break and taking my daughter to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo for her 10th birthday, so didn't find out until this morning. Yipee.

I'll have to trust your judgement on the horror flicks.

I saw an end of a GG ad the other day - very exciting, except I have already seen the fourth season because I have it on DVD (actually wayched the season finale today, very interesting - don't want to give anything away Wink).
You would think they would promote their new summer programs more, I mean I can't get away from the channel 10 promos, and yet I have only seen one GG ad and a couple Judging Amy ads, and they expect big ratings? Come on.

The last episode shown in NSW/ACT was "Scene In a Mall", Episode 15.
It would have been nice of Channel 9, seeing as they haven't shown any episodes in about 18 months, to go back a few episodes so the non-fanitics who haven't imported the DVD's can follow and remember the storylines.

I agree. But as if channel nine would think of anything remotely logical like that - it is a shame really.

Congrats to Bec and Lleyton - a girl, very cute.

Congrats to Bec and Lleyton - a girl, very cute.

How Australian am I??
I went for David Nalbandian in the David Cup decider against Lleyton because I hate the guy, also becasue I am a Nalbandian fan.  It's the first time in my 34 years I've ever wanted to see Australia lose... and just because I hate Lleyton that much.

Aww, thats a shame. It is a shame that Lleyton is like our only aussie guy tennis player that has the potential to go far (I have given up on, oh shucks whats his name again, oh yeah 'the poo' Roll Eyes).
I don't mind Lleyton he is an interesting player to watch, so I won't dis him.

He is an arrogant little twerp.  And those "come ons' especially when his opponent made the error is very disrepectful.  And his a Crows supporter.  Outside of Port supporters they are the worst and dumbest around.

Speaking of Tennis players I wish would represent any other country but Australia, I here Jelena Dokic wants to represent us again. She's going to make a return to competition in the Canberra classic in early January and hopes to play for Australia in the Fed Cup.  yipee Roll Eyes

Yeah but she dumped us and now wants to come back? I don't know, and that father of hers is crazy (yes I know he is passionate, but come on - no pun intended).

And I'm going to miss it. Sad  The Canberra Capitals (Local Woman's Basketball Team) are playing against Adelaide at the same time, and it's farewell night to our WNBA recruit Alana Beard.  I could tape it, but I don't see the point as I have them on DVD.
