This is more of a gift for Luke, if he ever has a craving for something unhealthy. Maybe Lorelai will appreciate it even though her system seems to work just fine for her  Cheesy

A take out menu organizer

And not to rush them along or anything, Jim wants to help them pro-create so he supplied viagara  Cheesy , here's some onesies...1 for a girl and 1 for a boy

And a brand new spatula for any spats they might have

Star Remember after the Lorelai/Max-wedding-that-never-happened, Emily told Lorelai she won't find out what her wedding present is until she gets married. Well, she's married now and I wanna know what the gift is!  Grin Any guesses?

It's passed midnight! Happy New Years Java Junkies!

As for the present, I have no idea what it could have been.

Happy New Year Ines! How's 2008 so far?  Cheesy

I'm sure the present is something expensive that Lorelai would trade in (for another pornographic monkey lamp perhaps lol). I don't know, something is telling me it's a useful and thoughtful gift. She may have even bought something different and kept the gift for herself!  Cheesy

Glad it's good so far, Ines! Hopefully, the fog will raise soon!

Well, Emily's had some time to really get ot know Lorelai since she was growing up...and through her experiences like Rory's b-day party, and Emily in Wonderland, as well as their many talks about what Lorelai is like now, I'm hoping it's something that is heartfelt and thoughtful on Emily's part. I would hope it to be something that Lorelai wouldn't feel the need to trade in for another pornographic leering monkey lamp! Tongue But, this is Emily we're talking about...as thick headed as her daughter at times!

Has anybody seen that poor bartender lately?  Wink

And I'm not sure if she was invited, but it's nice to see Drella stop by for old times sake.  Suckin' on a long neck and pluckin' some tunes

Woah, so good to see Drella and Miss Patty having a fine time! And what's with the spatula for spats? Will Luke spank Lorelai with the spatula or vice versa? Or will they take turns? What a fun couple!  Cheesy

About the wedding present from Emily, i'm remembering in season 6 when she and Richard were going to give the happy couple nothing less than a house. Ol' Em does not go half-way on these things. Or maybe Richard will go the old-fashioned route and give them a large chunk of money.

Richard is multi-tasking! I was watching the History Channel earlier, a program that gave short histories of each of the U.S. states, and it was narrated by none other than Eddie! But he made no mention of the wedding, not even when he talked about Connecticut.
 Smiley

Emily is having herself a great time. I think she needs a re-fill. I'm hoping she does not "thrill" us with a strip-tease on a table-top.  Shocked That gal knows how to party.

ROFL Jim.  That was a great one.  I was kind of hoping we might get a few more cameo's from some of our wedding guests.  But with that last one by Emily, I am completely satisfied!!! Smiley

I watched that all day today, Jim, and I didn't realize it was him narrating!!!  Now that I read your post, though, of course it was him!  I don't know how I missed his distinctive voice!  It is such a great series - they somehow make each state actually seem fascinating!   Cheesy Nod  The History Channel can be very cool.   Cool

I agree with this Caryn!  I was trying to think of funny guests and what they might do, but cannot think of a thing that doesn't sound lame in comparison to Jim's awesome Emily photo!

I am loving this whole wedding and I want a piece of that S'mores cake!  Hearts

I wonder how Miss Patty's feeling this morning...and Emily too?? Tongue

Mira I'm sorry that you missed it! I'm sure there will still be some celebrating going on today. Surely, Stars Hallow isn't done partying yet. Heck, it's for two of the most beloved people in the town! I'm guessing there will be dancing in the streets yet!!

I think I even saw Mrs. Kim dancing a little last night... Shocked

It was a wonderful celebration, everyone! Thanks again to all the JJ's who helped prepare and plan! A job super well done everyone! It was great fun! And it looks like the Bride & Groom are off to their honeymoon! We'll see about those jam hands soon, huh? Wink

Huzzah! for the (finally!) wedding of the couple of the century!

It's officially 2008 so Happy New Year again to you all!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for the wedding! It was a great, fun day and it also could not have been possible without everyone's help. The months of planning paid off and I owe a big thanks to all the Java Junkies! Pretty stick for all! Like Mel said, I'm sure they're still celebrating in Stars Hollow! I think I saw Kirk dancing to some techno music...he does a mean robot.

Celebrate

...I think there's still some cake left, anyone want some more s'more  Grin

The java junkies know how to par-tay!

I think Baby Jam Hands is being created at this very moment! I just felt the earth tremble.  Shocked  Cool

Celebrate

Kirk had a great time at the wedding but he can't find his pants, Lulu won't speak to him and he ended up wearing Emily's fur-trimmed coat. I hope he found time to take pictures.

Oh. My. God.
I feel HORRIBLE. I went to my grandmother's all day watching TV and totally forgot about the wedding. :[ And I promised I would be here, ugh, after all that planning, and I missed it.

Well, I'll say what I would have said yesterday right now. :

Congratulations Luke & Lorelai! (:[/size]

And might I add, FINALLY! Haha, they were, and still are the most beautiful couple on TV. Though, I was not thee to see it happen (I'm so sorry. :[) I know it was the bash of the year and I hope all JJs enjoyed it. (:

Its amazing how this couple went from:

"Please Luke please."

"How many cups have you had this morning?"

"None."

"Plus?"

"Five, but yours is better!"

"You have a problem."

"Yes I do."

"Junkie."

"Angel, you've got wings baby."

(Sorry if I missed anything.)

To:

"What are you doing?"

"Will you just stand still?"

Then:

"Luke, will you marry me?"

"What?"

"Luke. Will you --"

"Yes."

To:

"Thank you."

"Ah, its no big deal."

"Luke."

"I just... like to see you happy."

Watching this couple grow was amazing. Each time they shared a moment it was like Christmas. Well, I was happy as I would be on Christmas. Maybe happier. I'm glad I was able to watch them grow as a couple. Their ups, their downs and everything inbetween.

And Jim, yes, I think I felt that too. Haha, dirtyyyyyy. (:

I LOVE ALL OF YOU JAVA JUNKIES. THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS LEGENDARY EVENT TOGETHER. PRETTYSTICKS FOR YOU ALL! [:
