I love Lorelai and Luke together but right now I don't think that Luke is really listening to Lorelai. She has needs to. Luke seems to be paying to much attention to the problem with April to even listen to Lorelai (his fiancee!) They are sooo great together but Luke just doesn't seem to realize what a big step this is for Lorelai and he's really hurting her and making her push further away from just like she did with Max. I really hope that things get patched up this season and Luke sees how much he's hurting Lorelai

I didn't see luke and lorelai's fight as them breaking up, but it seems like that is the case, based on stuff other people have posted. 

I felt like it more of a misunderstanding with them and they both needed time to think and Lorelai really cheated on Luke, not just rebounded. 

Does anyone else share this sentiment, or am i alone here?

no their fight was pretty much a break up unfortunately....cause lorelai gave him an ultimatum, but hopefully this season they can work things out....hopefully soon, rather than in like the last episode...but i think they'll get back together sometime in this season.

I really hope that it doesn't take all season for them to work this out (which they will!)but if it does then the episodes better be good because episodes without Luke and Lorelai together = Sad depressing, sad episodes

even if L&L dont end up together, which i hope to god they do, im pretty sure there going to get back together. Cause breaking up on those terms was horrible.

yah, i agree, chris is just like lorelai's rebound cuz she's lonely, so it's only a matter of time before L/L get back together, i mean they've been setting it up that way since the beginning of the show....plus chris is only in the first half of the season (or 13 episodes) so i definetely don't think him and lorelai will end up together.

Totally agree. Chris is just a simple roadblock to keeep Gilmore Girls from getting dull.

the dull part i think will never happen. it will get very annoying, yes, and people will occasionally put their foot thru their TVs, but i dont think dull will happen, what with all the words that come oiut of their mouths. no matter how terrible i think an eppie is, i never think it gets dulll. but thats sort of just MO.

Off-topic sort of: whos gonna cry all the way thru the series finale? i know i am!

Depends on what the episode is about...I'm not one to fall into weepy tears over something incredibly happy...although depending on how this thing between Luke and Lorelai goes this season, and how they DO get back together, I may fall into weepy tears over that, and I'll probably cry at the end cause Gilmore Girls means the world to me. 

I'm very excited to know that Luke and Lorelai are ultimately soulmates and they'll end up together eventually.  We'll just have to be patient until they do.  I, for one, will  never stop believing in the love Luke and Lorelai have for each other...no matter what or who comes into each of their lives, they will always have each other.

yah i agree it will be SOOO sad when gg ends! but every show has to end sometime, right? as long as it ends with luke and lorelai together and rory and lorelai and emily and paul anka the dog (lol) a happy family then i think the ending won't be too bad....plus season 7 might not be the last, there's like a 5% chance that they might do one more season....like for rory to graduate.
