Ok.  We all know that eventually the show will end.  I'm not saying that the show will end soon but I just wanted to know how you think the show should end.

Eep! I dun wanna think about it ending  Cry. But I think it should definitely end after Lorelai has Luke's twins, like she saw in that dream the first eppy of Season 3. ROry should have finished college and come to help Double L with her siblings. I also think there should me more of a look in to the Gilmore family, like an aunt or a cousin or even a niece ( Shocked ) or something.

Alot would happen before the end, but the end?

Lorelai give birth to her and Lukes twins. Luke is by her side holding her hand >Luke didn't want to be there as he didn't see it as a plase for the man but Lorelai demanted it (and he secretly wanted to him self)< Lorelai bite Lukes hand in pain and Luke complaine something about he knew it was a bad idear to be there (or something else Luke like). The babys comes out and they lay with Lorelai who shines with happyness and Luke has tears running from his eyes, sniffling.
Rory should be there to, just beeing happy.

Sene change...

NOTE: I don't know what the room the babys are layed in to after birth on hospitals is calld so i will call it the B-room.

Lorelai, with Luke and Rory on either side of her, stands infront of the B-room and look true the glass. There is some dialog while the picture shift to the twins. Then the picture shift back to Lorelai, Luke and Rory. The dialog ends. The picture zomes out so the twins is visible along with the 3 L's (Rory=Lorelai Wink), stay for some sekunds and shift to the credits. The credits will be shown with NO sound. Complete silance. Then a tekst thanking the fans for there suport.

Why Richerd and Emely are not there? On there way in a plaine from Europa.
Sokie? On her way from a "food something" i her car (Jakson with her).

I just think it is best if the end is with the 3L's and the twins so i had to make something up Undecided

If something don't make sense ask. It is late and my head is not fresh. I just have this clear vision of this. Don't know how it translate to PC screen Tongue

I hope it never ends but before it does I agree with Janich thatLuke and Lorelai must get married and have their twins, I also think Rory will be at least engaged and back at Yale

I want a satisfying ending. Nothing that leaves us wondering, nothing that is disappointing. Just an amazing last hurrah. I hope ASP can muster up the strength to do that. It's been so long since she's even tried...

(Ooh, bitter. Sorry. Just...I can't stand her right now.)

How should it all end?  Well we know Amy has already written the ending and it's a scene with just Lorelai and Rory.

The TV show endings that I love the best are the ones that show the future like Third Watch or Six Feet Under did.  That way it doesn't drive you crazy wondering what happened to Luke and Lorelai and Rory and Logan.

I vote for the twins like Lorelai had in her dreams.  The ending I'd like to see is one of a much older Lorelai and a much older Rory - both with grown up children - perhaps reflecting on their uniqueness and all the heights they've managed to reach in their lives as they lay Emily to rest.  Maybe a reference to the new generation of reigning Lorelai's?  I'd love to see the next generation of children in Stars Hollow interacting somewhere in there.  I want to see how the band turns out and whether Lane ever gets the chance to be happily married with kids.  Can you imagine Michel's kid?  How about Kirk's kid?  (Did Babette and Maury never have children?)  Who will wind up taking over Taylor's place as the pain of Stars Hollow?  There must be something about the town troubador!!!  Did he raise little troubadors to take his place?

I'm all for closure when the final episode wraps up.  Then I can be at peace. Smiley

Eep! She's already written the end?? I hope it doesn't mean this is the last season  Cry. I kind of like that future idea Morada. Kind of an epilogue. Round everything up, no cliffhangers.

Well, I know ASP said she HOPED to end the show at Rory's graduation.  But this was way back in season 4 I think when she said that, so I don't even know if she had written Rory's dropping out yet.

Oh no, I don't mean she's planning on Season 6 being the last season.  She just said she had written out the last "scene" of the show when it finally did end.

I was looking at how you put your name in your signature photo.  You have a pretty name, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how one would pronounce it.  Is there any way you'd consider spelling it out phonetically so I'll stop wondering?  Cheesy  Thanks.

Do we?  I knew that she said she knew what the last line was, but hadn't heard that it would be just Lorelai and Rory.  If that's so, good!  Great!  I'm not going to think up a whole episode (because I can't) but the very last scene should focus on what the show is and always will be about.  The relationship between Lorelai and Rory.  You want to give Lorelai and Luke a wedding and twins?  Go ahead, but do it well before the last episode so it doesn't feel like the entire show has been developed for that very purpose.  You want Rory with Logan/Jess/some other schlub (not Dean, please!)  Again, do it well before the last episode, so the importance has worn off.  Let them play a part, but the main thrust, the major plot, and the last scene especially must be between Lorelai and Rory.

Pssst: Morada, who's name?

By the end I think Rory should be with Marty, the decent guy. Lane should be with Henry, cuz that would be sweet Smiley. Lorelai and Luke get their twins etc. I said it somewhere else, I can't remember where, but I guess I'll just repeat myself, heh. If it's meant to end at Rory's graduation, I reckon all their family and friends should sort of appear in the last scene. But Rory and Lorelai are standing together on a balcony or bridge or something at Rory's graduation party, looking down at all of them and what they've achieved. Maybe a special look at Luke with both twins. I definitely remember posting my idea for the last lines, hehe...

Lorelai: You did good kid.
Rory: We did good.
Lorelai: Hm, yes. I guess we did.

Well they have, haven't they? Season 6 has had the highest ratings apparantely, a time when most other programmes are starting to fizzle out...

Hmmm....I would end it with Lorelai having Lukes baby. They design and build a nursery during the last season. Rory is already graduated from Yale and she gets a job where is travels and writes about it for a magazine or something. Christopher either gets back together with his wife or re-marries someone better. Emily and Richard finally except Luke and welcome him into the family (I know this may NEVER happen but here's hopin'). Lorelai and Sookie continue with the Dragon Fly and even think of possibily expanding it.

Lane breaks up with Zach and moves on to a guy who is more like Dave. Paris and her bf get engaged and are planning a summer wedding. As for Rory's love life she either gets together with Marty or finds someone new that is just as nice and sweet. Kirk and Lulu also get married and they stay in Stars Hollow.

I would have the last season end with new beginnings. New chapters in everyones lives and you get to see a little bit of it all throughout the last season instead of just ending it as they are all just starting out on new experiences.

I like what you and also Alliansa wrote.  I also wrote my ideal ending in another thread...or maybe I just read about my ideal episode written by someone who thinks like me...

Anyway, I see the dream coming true. Luke and Lorelei married, baby twins (1 of each).  But, the very last episode is about Rorys Yale graduation.  Very Last scene between Rory & Lorelei.  Earlier scenes or episodes relating to new beginings.

Opening scene of last episode, Luke trying to get everyone out the door....Luke at door weighted down w/ diaper carryalls & twins in stroller waits at door...as Lorelei and Rory run around like crazy people....destination Yale graduation....
