I love how Lorelai used to dress - lots of t-shirts and jeans, with a Lorelai twist.  However, I love Rory's Yale look: lots of plain coats, fashionable sweaters, and of course, her bangs, which are always swept off to the side so gracefully.  I think her and her mother always look fashionable without looking like fashion victims (unless you count the episode when Lorelai takes Rory to Chilton for the first time  ). 

I must say, I'm not too struck on Lorelai's wedding dress: I don't know if it's the flowers or what.  I'm not saying she should try coffee over it, but it just doesn't seem right.

Also, I wonder if Luke has only several shirts that he keeps wearing, because all the plaid looks the same to me.  Of course all plaid does look the same, but his look does seem to be one that never changes.

haha, no, he's actually got a lot of plaid shirts. but over the past 6 years..i'm pretty sure he's repeated a shirt more than once.

one thing that gets me though is that Lorelai and Rory never seem to repeat any outfits. They always have something new to wear. i don't know about you guys.. but i've definitely worn the same shirt more than once.

i think its just the magic of TV, though.

Laya-05, you're right.  I think poor Luke just gets to pick from a selection of plaid shirts, and the women get a different outfit every week.  After all, Luke's been wearing that blue hat ever since Season 1, and his coat seems to have been around almost as long!  Lorelai and Rory re-wearing clothes might make the show a bit more realistic, but I guess it wouldn't be as fun, and who wants realism!  Plus, when Luke finally does dress up, it's that much more of a pleasure to see him without plaid - behold the powers of a bath! and a change of clothes!

I really don't like the wedding dress.  It's definitely not my style.  But most of Lorelai's casual clothing is not my taste.  It's a bit too much for me.  I do however like her business/work clothing!  Sometimes Rory's clothing, especially in the earlier episodes, is too conservative for me though.

Lorelai and Rory always look fab.  I wish I had my own costume designer, hair stylist, and makeup guru.

I picked Lorelai and Jess because I like the way Lorelai styles her hair...sophisticated/chic and Jess is always hot, especially in the episdoe A Tisket A Tasket. I liked Rory's hair in the third season, because by then she had taken all the friz out of it and it looked really natural and straight. I dislike it now because it looks awful the way she curls it this season. it looks more "her' when its straight.

I think it looks perfect and beautiful.  Almost too perfect though- like a wig!  And that's not good if your hair looks fake.

At least she has professionals to do it for her for the show.  Although I like her hair curly and wouldn't mind if she wore it that way more often.

I've been watching my DVDs again and what I love are the boots that they wear.  I love boots.  Noticed that Rory wear a lot of boots at Yale.  I hate shopping for shoes but love looking for boots.
