I would watch a spin-off...but yeah I do think that they should at least have half of a season to wrap everything up, because or else theyre rushing it....but yeah that would be a cool idea!

I'd watch a spinoff, only because it includes the characters that I love. I'd also be too curious to see what it was about to stay away!

Exactly! I really hope they do a season 8....but if they don't (knocks on wood), a spinoff would be good. Not as good, but good enough!

Just call the show StarsHollow!

I would be fine with watching Gypsy,Andrew,Miss Patty ect... 

 And they could (If only!!) say oh Luke and Lorelai are on their honeymoon and Rory is on hers

 Not sure what they would do after that?
Keep Sookie And Michele running the INN and stuff like that! and don't forget Paris and Doyle!!

Just let Lauren and Alexis guest star here and there and I would be happy!!!

There has been alot of spinoffs that made it like:  Frasier and Lavern and Shirley!!

I agree. I think I would atleast give a spin-off a chance. I like the idea of one called Stars Hollow (someone else's idea, not mine) that would revolve around Sookie and Jackson, throw in Patty, Babette, Taylor, and of course Kirk.

But let's just hope for a season 8

Ok, were are gaining momentum on this.  I really think it could fly for a while just to close everything out the proper way.  I still want season 8 though of course.

There have been many shows that provided "spin-off" material. Remember Star Trek?
I would definitely watch whatever spin-offs came from Gilmore Girls, provided they showed the same, or nearly the same, quality of dialog and acting. I would also hope there would be DVDs available, after the shows get dropped.

If we dont get a season 8..I would watch a spinoff of the show..although I know there are some spinoffs that don't do well at all, but i would still watch it and i would love every second of it! haha

A spinoff sounds wonderful, as an idea. Remember that it took many people and many gatherings (called conventions) to get someone in Hollywood to come up with some spinoffs of Star Trek. Then they had the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek Enterprise. I may have missed one or two, but the idea is that the people that want to see something on television have to do more than just discuss it in a chatroom.
I would think a spinoff is better than what we are getting now, which is nothing. How about sydication? Will you still be loyal enough to watch reruns? For how long? Did you go out and buy the DVDs for all the seasons? Will you get tired of them?
Now, how hard are you willing to work to make a spinoff happen? Has anyone thought of coming up with a convention to bring GG fans together?
