Summary: Tired of the freezing Connecticut weather, Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Paris (Liza Weil) take off for Florida and their first taste of spring break. Amid sun, sand and too much partying, they run into Madeline (Shelly Cole) and Louise (Teal Redman), their old pals from Chilton, and Rory is shocked when Paris makes an unexpected bid for attention at a nightclub where The Shins are performing. Meanwhile, Lorelai's (Lauren Graham) relationship with Jason (Chris Eigeman) takes another step forward when he gives her a key to his place, and Luke (Scott Patterson) needs Lorelai to bail him out of jail when he reacts badly after learning that Nicole (Tricia O'Kelley) is seeing another man.

haha i liked this episode a lot because its not something you see paris or rory ever doing...rory's reaction to the kiss was funny and how all of a sudden that guy talked to her because of it.  Kiss

Yeah, did anyone else think that he looked somewhat like
Jess? His profile resembled him, but he didn't have much of a personality,
which was how he was supposed to be anyway. haha "I have to tell you, that

I was just watching this episode again and I just realized it too. But I think this guy was more muscular and taller. The Paris and Rory kiss scene was hilarious damn that crazy Paris! =]

I just watched the "Gilmore Goodies and Gossip" version of this episode on the DVD.  Interesting to find out that The Shins have members named Marty, Dave & Jess.  Coincedence?

I love the whole giant q-tip conversation. Very funny. Also the part where Jason goes through the whole part where he tells Lorelai that they are at a point in their relationship where he usally bolt and she starts talking about her cute boots. That part is very funny too, or at least I thought it was.

I couldn't believe that Rory and Paris kissed.  I don't know, even when i was acting, if i could ever kiss someone the same sex as me.  (When i know neither Alexis or Lisa likes girls in that way)  It would just seem so aquard to me.
