Funny, the bangs are one of the few things I like about her.  But, I'm a big fan of bangs.

I think her appearance has chaned a lot.  She doesn't look like Rory anymore.  I guess they are trying to show her as being older because she is 21, but maybe if she lost the bangs it would make her looks more like she used to.

I agree, the bangs do make her look a little bit older. Things change. Hopefully Rory won't.

I don't think Rory's pregnant, at least I hope not.  I don't like Logan, if she was pregnant, he'd be one of those guys who'd just run away from it.  Rory, has been getting taller she must be wearing some very high heeled shoes, or maybe it's the bangs(LOL).

As for how she looks, she actually looks older than 21, whereas in the past she's looked about her age or younger. It's not something that I like, really. Rory looks like Alexis for the first time. She used to look like a different person, and she doesn't any more.

And the way she acted when she wanted tha job and everything, that was just annoying. I mean, she obviously really wanted it, but you don't get everything that you want. I think that whoever said it was a parody of a go getter was right.

Where did the Rory pregnant thing come from?  As far as I've seen, there's been nothing hinted anywhere on the show about Rory being pregnant.  And, as much as AS-P has messed up the character, this is one thing I feel pretty sure that she won't do.  It would smack too much of "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" and it would demolish one of the major themes that Lorelai managed to raise a daughter who wouldn't do the same thing she did.

I hope she is not getting pregnant now, specially not from Logan! I'd like to see a mummy Rory... at the end of the show maybe, when she found something to do with her life, ended school, find a good job, develop her carreer, and specially a nice man to raise the kids with, deciding to have kids and everything... so this is going to take long. And I hope it that way.
Different from the others, I don't want the "old Rory" back.. I explain myself: I didn't like most of the things she's done in seasons 5 and 6, specially going to live with Emily and Richard. But I don't want her back to who she was, this whole experience, Logan relationship, Yale break, living in the poolhouse, comunity service... should have consequences on her. And that experience will have a grown up Rory with new goals and wanting new things from life.
Going back to an old Rory would mean: going back to a girl who has erased two years of her life, hasn't grown up and hasn't learned anything.

Speaking about Alexis, I can't believe she is dating Milo Ventimiglia, and I didn't know her father was from Argentina. So she is half co-patriot of me! That was a nice surprise...

In a way I agree.  There has to be change.  Especially since it would bring something out of a storyline that I consider a bad idea in the first place (the Yale break).  However, when I say I want the old Rory, I don't mean the exact same person she was two years ago as if nothing had happened.  I mean, I'd like the changes to seem as if they naturally grew out of her core personality, and for that to still be there, rather than a total stranger that she seems to be at times (to me).

As far as new goals, I was thinking.  I would have loved if she had decided that being a reporter wasn't for her. Not the panicky Mitchum said, so it's true, but a real assessment of her skills and wants.  And, then she decided to do something like become a book writer (which I think would fit Rory) or also maybe a teacher.

Those new goals would be great! I'm having a moment like that myself right now, but different from Rory, I'm not quiting college... so that would have been revealing for myself also!
I'd like to watch her succeed, in any carreer. Just like Lorelai did in hers, but not waiting 20 years for that!

Depends on the level of success.  Unless the show lasts a long time, there's no way Rory could even reach the level Lorelai was at the beginning of the series.  Lorelai was already as high as she could get without actually owning an inn.  Whatever profession Rory settles on (and I have a feeling it'll be journalism in the end) she can only be on the right path, get a solid footing.  I mean, if it's going to be realistic.

I know most if not all dislike Rory nowadays, but she is after all one of the two main characters of the show. It has kind of turned into an unappreciation thread anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
Besides, the first part of the topic title says "Alexis Bledel."

Anyway, I just thought it was funny how one of the most important main character's discussion thread was on the last page of the Cast and Characters forum =P

I think Rory has changed a lot as far as her appearance over the past six seasons. She started out really plain and didn't really spend a lot of time with makeup and styling her hair or whatever. Now that she is in college it seems like she has taken more of an interest in looking nice and dressing up. Is it just me or does she wear her hair curly more often now than back in the first 2 seasons or so?

I think Rory is AwSoMe! She is funny and Kewl! I really think that she does spend more time on her makeup and hair seince she has gone to College. I also think she has changened alot after she did that  with Dean!!
