The prettystick I have no problem with cause it's a good thing to compliment someone. And I'm planning on using that option more. People should do it more often..compliment good or welcome behavoir. I'm not planning on using the snarkastic button in the future so to me it's a weird option. I was raised to hold my tong when people piss you off. What gives me the right to judge someone. Something might annoy me or really piss me off but that's just my oppinion. Someone else might really love the same post that pissed me off.....I'd rather let people be than to snark them...even if it's just on a forum. I'd rather go to another thread then to snark someone. But apparently that's just me, cause the snark button has been used alot.

It tells you how much people like/dislike you, basically, or how helpful/unhelpful you are. If someone likes you or finds you helpful, they can click pretty stick and give you positive karma (Like mine, which is 7). If someone dislikes you or finds you unhelpful, they can click snarkastic and give you negative karma (Like yours, which is -57).
You can't see your own pretty stick/snarkastic links, but others can see your and you can see theirs.

I think the reason you may have bad Kharma-and not to be critical at all, just trying to be helpful, is because of things like double-posting and posting topics in the wrong place. Doube-posting is like, what you did here, where you can easily edit your first post to contain what the 2nd and 3rd posts say, that eliminates the number of posts on the board. That is something that people find really annoying if they have slow modems, because they have to wait for all of them to load only to find out they are essentialy the same thing. Also, when posts are put in the wrong spot, ie, putting something about the characters in the general or spoiler section, people get annoyed as it clutters the board. Also, when you post new topics for topics that already exist that can annoy people too. I am only trying to help, and I don't use the kharma as I dislike the whole concept because if you don't like something that a person writes, regarldless of the truthfullness or their intent you can give them bad karma. I hope this maybe sheds some light onto your question as to your karma. Once again, not trying to be critical, just trying to answer your question in the most helpful way possible. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

And to add on to what Jaredloverforever said, you tend to make a lot of topics that... There's a lot of raving, rambling and improper grammer. You have a slight tendency to DO THIS WHEN YOU WANT TO MAKE A POINT, or sometimes ThIs, WhIcH iS gRaTiNg. Just, try to cut down on the pointless, repeat or raving topics and your karma will probably improve a bit.
And on the pretty stick thing, I won't pretty stick you because, sorry, but you didn't earn it. I pretty stick people when I find them helpful and informative. If I did it just because you asked, that would go against both my family morals and my political ethics.

Jaredloverforever
and
Krisleigh
I think you are right.
kaylarox
I don't know if you read my last post on the general board, but just in case you didn't it might be better if I add it in the karma thread as well. I also posted what
Jaredloverforever
and
Krisleigh
said there. But something that might be a little anoying aswell is that...on this forum we also have a rule that you should only make a thread if it's about a new topic which people can discuss. If you want to get stuff of your cheast...there are already threads for that. When a thread isn't new the mods will close your thread. So when we have a lot of closest threads on the boards it cludders it up a little. Also for example just posting 'I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS' or 'I agree' is considered starposting. Which means to post just to raies your postnumbers. I know your new here so that's not your intend and I love how pashioned you are about GG. But some members might not realise that and might snark you for it. Again I hope I don't come across as to big of a bitch, cause I'm just trying to help you. And no doubte you karma will improve, just try to follow the rules.
And maybe we all should pretty stick people more and snark less, cause who are we to judge others, right?

I have snarkt
one
person on this board (vanquished
one
ons on an other board). The important thing is always to let it be followed by text to explaine what the problem is so the snarked may learn. Punishment without explanation is torture, torture is nonconstructive and therefore wrong.
The "prettystic" need no explanation and i use it whenever it is called fore, even if i do not know how to explaine WTH the reason is.
Now take WO here as an example.

I do not agree with the idea that we should not judge others. We must always be
just
in our judgment. If a person use his entire life to abuse others for personal gain and by the end of every day has destroyed no less then one persons life, i say that judgment is, not only called for but, demanded of us. We must isolate this person and if necessary destroy this person so others with the same demented needs will fear to follow the path of nonconstructive destruction.
Will this then be a reason to snark WO? No. Her take on this is a sign of good. To experience the evil of the the world and still feel that we must refrain from judgment is one of two things. Stupid or good. As i have read enough of WO's post to know that she is by
no
definition stupid, then she must be good.
This is reason enough to beat her silly with the pretty stick as i shall now go and do.
