I saw there is an international discussion and everyone here makes a thread according to where he lives, so I thought to make a one for Israel too.
well, to say the truth I don't think there is more fans here from Israel, beside me. ):
currect me if I wrong.
I only can tell you that here GG hasn't finished yet... hmmm, i watched it a few mintues ago, and Richard got an heart-attack ):
Does anyone knows if Lorelai and Luke get marrie at the end of the season? O:

I'm not from Israel and i've never visited, but i was raised Jewish in the U.S., so maybe that half-counts!
My parents took a trip to Israel and Egypt a long time ago. I have a picture of them sitting on top of a camel. A picture of anyone's parents sitting on a camel has got to be a silly picture.
In an unrelated incident, i once met a camel at a park in New Jersey who spit at me. I did not take it personally.
Good to know that Gilmore Girls reaches far and wide around the world!

I've never been to Israel, but it seems great, and I remember when I was little, my preschool teacher was from Israel and she got dengi (not sure how it's spelled) fever and almost died, well, she went back home to Israel to recover, and she came back and she was like new and I remember thinking wow, she was at some good place lol.
I was on a camel once *showing off*
but I was like 3 years old so I don't remember

Hey Mira and Jim, thanks you are so nice!
jim- haha it counts...
do you know Hebrew?
I learned Hebrew as a child but did not stick with it later and can no longer read or write much. My parents were very proud of being Jewish but were not religious at all. But they put me through Hebrew School and i had a Bar Mitzvah. I had older brothers who did not do either, but as the youngest my parents decided i should do it. Our temple was reform/progressive (i grew up in New York). I was an average student of Hebrew at the time. I was young and did not take it very seriously, in part because i knew my parents didn't take it very seriously. I did pretty well at my Bar Mitzvah though, which by the way was partly in English and partly in Hebrew. I handled all the Hebrew prayers well.
I am guessing you know English and Hebrew equally well. I recall after my parents visited Israel they said that English was commonly spoken and many people they met were Americanized in many ways, perhaps more than other countries. Also, Israel still has compulsory military service, correct? So, you will be going through that eventually?
ha ha, i always take issue with Lorelai in the episode where she says "oy with the poodles already". Earlier in that same scene she says she cannot imagine a sentence containing the word "oy" that is not funny. She never knew my mom! Most of the time she used the word "oy" it was not in a funny or happy sentence.

oooh, the letters are so cool! The only thing that's different between English and Croatian letters is that Croatian doesn't have x, y and w, and has š, đ, č, ć and letters with two signs like lj, nj, dž. I wish we had letters like that...so awesome.
Ah, I'm such a chicken when it comes to the army, I dunno how I'd survive if I had to go lol. Good thing I'm a girl, here even if you're a guy you can serve it in some sort of community like being a bodyguard or something somewhere. But if I had to go, I'd probably fake an illness or something
jk, lol. But I didn't know that everyone in Israel has to go to the army, and now I know
yay, *see mom I can learn from the Internet

well, š sounds like sh in English, and č and ć are like ch, only č is a bit more rough, and ć is softer. đ sounds like...the j in the word jam. ž is sort of like...j in the name Jacques. and dž is like a mix of d and ž. as is lj and nj, but j and d are pronounced differently here. lol...
Does Flemish have that o that has a line in the middle? Or is that Swedish?

Nope, that's Swedish
Ines, I didn't know bout the army either! Here, they got rid of compulsory military service and I'm really happy about that. I'm way too chicken to do something like that, that's why I admire Noga for not being scared or anything!
