Rory: Look how you just said, "Luke can waltz." Lorelai: What, I'm just saying, I'm surprised that Luke can waltz. Rory: That sounded more like, "I'm surprised I still have my clothes on."

I finished it yesterday. I thought it was okay...I would have preferred if it was a Companion to the show . With an episode guide, pics and interviews etc. lol

I've for the most part finished it. IMO, it was great, and made me think that this wasn't just some show, it was a lifestyle. It made me feel closer to the show because I understand how different New England is from other places in the US. And plus, it was analytical, and I want to be a sociologist, so it defiantely interested me.

I thought Coffee At Luke's was VERY good! I love how they totally analyzed the show, and made me realize things I never would have thought of before! Highly recommended! lol

I don't know anything about the book.
Maybe this has been brought up on one of the other threads, but Alexis Bledel actually hated drinking coffee. She had either coke or another beverage in the cup that she was drinking.

I haven't read the book yet. I want to though. I wish I could really have coffee at Luke's.

I finally got my hands on a copy of this book today. My boss gave me a $50 gift certificate to Borders for Christmas so I just went totally wild. I can't wait to read it. But there are quite few books I need to read before it. I'm just glad I finally have it

It was such an amazing book! I've read it more times that I can count, especially the Kirk essay.
