The Viewing Party - Season 4 Episode 7
Love Me or Louvre Me (a.k.a. The Festival of the Living Art)
Official viewing time: Tuesday, March 31st, 2009
(8pm Org time, or the equivalent in your US time zone.  Internationals please view it at your earliest convenience)

Summary: When Stars Hollow puts on the "Festival of Living Art," an event in which the townspeople stage famous paintings, Rory (Alexis Bledel) appears in "Portrait of a Young Girl Named Antea," Lorelai (Lauren Graham) plays the beauty in Renoir's "The Dance at Bougival," while Kirk is Jesus in "The Last Supper." Meanwhile, Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) panics about going past her delivery date and Lorelai calms her down with stories of the night Rory was born. Nicole (guest star Tricia O'Kelley) tells Luke (Scott Patterson) she wants to hold off on the divorce and give their relationship a chance. Lane (Keiko Agena) finds a great guitarist (guest star Sebastian Bach of the band Skid Row), but he is a good deal older than everyone else in the band.

As you may well notice this week we have a wonderful graphic courtesy of lessa.    Thanks a bunch lessa and to all those who entered.  We are now accepting entries for the Season 4, episode 8 - Die, Jerk.  Rory sees the tough side of journalism and Luke puts his divorce on hold.

Happy viewing guys and gals and we'll see you in the episode thread.

orry about my lack of posts to update the Viewing Party.  I went away for a week and kind of ran out of time beforehand to come and drop a message here.

I will be back in the next day or so to catch up and make amends.

Cheers Kiss

Definitely. But no pressure, vacations are nice. They keep things fresh.

I'd go with Die Jerk, just pick up where we left off. Though it could be biased, I'm in no hurry to get to the end, and we're almost halfway there already!

The Viewing Party - Season 4 Episode 8
Die, Jerk
Official viewing time: Tuesday, April 21st, 2009
(8pm Org time, or the equivalent in your US time zone.  Internationals please view it at your earliest convenience)

Summary: When the editor of the Yale newspaper tells Rory (Alexis Bledel) her articles are dull, she writes a scathing review of the Yale ballet and becomes the target of the vindictive lead ballerina (guest star Katherine Brunk). Jason (Chris Eigeman) impresses Lorelai (Lauren Graham) when he manipulates Emily (Kelly Bishop) into inviting him to Friday night dinner so he can continue his efforts to get Lorelai to go out with him. Surprised to see Nicole (Tricia O'Kelley) at the diner, Lorelai forces Luke (Scott Patterson) to admit that he and Nicole have put their divorce on hold and are dating again, and Lane (Keiko Agena) freaks out when her mother gives her a "marriage jug" to send to Dave in California.

As you may well notice this week we have a wonderful graphic courtesy of lessa.    Thanks a bunch lessa.  We are now accepting entries for Season 4, episode 9 - Ted Koppel's Big Night Out.  The Gilmores' tail gate it at Yale, Lorelai goes on a date with Jason and Rory discovers Paris' little secret.

Happy viewing guys and gals and we'll see you in the episode thread.

I watched the show from the start first time around, I wasn't a member of this site until just over a year ago so I haven't visited these early episode threads to have much of a say.  Maybe that is the case for others also.

Hey there forfun.  I too watched the episodes first time around and only joined this site around Season 4 or 5 I think it was.  Then we felt withdrawals with no new eps to watch once the show finished so we thought we'd revisit the show on a weekly basis.  I'm sure there a a few members who weren't present first time around to comment in the episode threads, so this would indeed be a great way for them to do that.  Many have come and gone over the last few years of doing this.

Feel free to join in as we go along.  The more the merrier!!

Hey ho, it's Tuesday again. I really enjoyed it this week, yea, though I have discovered Criminal Minds and House was good again last night. I think I ran into Dani257 on xanga, too, that was fun. If I'm the most knowledgeable org member, she was the Goddess of GG research.
