I loved this, cause you get to see that Jess is really changing a little bit. I loved it when Luke was listening to his tape in the car.

I'm watching a rerun of this episode and I can't help it, I LOVE IT. I love Luke. That scene Gilmorefan xx quoted is really funny, and when he finally sees her face *sighs* I get all excited. I love flirty Luke!!! 

I also loved the whole LAP rambling of TJ and Luke at the strip club,

Favorite part of the episode?

MOST definatley when Jess is at the strip club not even looking at the strippers, but looking at his book. And when you can tell that the strippers aren't on Lukes mind.

Good episode! I loved the part at the end when luke gave his self help tape to jess and told him he didn't need it anymore!

This episode, and the one after it (even more so) is the reason why the most satisfying and important relationship that Jess has for me is with Luke.  This was really only a hint at Jess' growing maturity, but it was there.  I was surprised that I found him still aggravating for much of the episode when I read the transcript.  But, that was because I confused this one with the next episode, so my expectations were higher.  Still, despite that, I love that Jess came to the wedding because of Luke. I also love that he didn't come because Luke said he'd feel guilty, or read him the riot act for not being a good son.  He came because it was important to Luke.

Oh Dani, we are so on the same page when it comes to this part of the story line.  I always loved Jess' character - never thought he was right for Rory, but more perhaps that he was something Rory had to experience.  But the way Jess matured in this episode and then what takes place in the following episode between him and Luke - I love, love, love it!!

Cool!  I always found that the opinions on Jess were pretty polarized.  You either liked him and thought he was the one for Rory, or you disliked him altogether.  I thought I was the only one who liked Jess, and at the same time didn't like his relationship with Rory.
