i think this episode shows how jess really is trying to get better. he's not an a**hole, he's sarcastic and a smart a** but that's who he is, and it's funny hehe. but the old jess would have never come to the wedding and i think that in this episode it shows him growing into a better person. as far as what happened at the end with rory, i think his emotions just got the best of him. he was seeing this girl that he's been in love with for 2 years and he knows he broke her heart, i can see where he would be overdramatic

dean really wanted rory to invite him in her dorm room but jess interupped, dean got jelouse, jess wanted rory to go to NY w/ him but she didnt dean gets all mad when rory tells him to leave , TJ is in love w/ tights, dean was really sweet to come and get rory idk in my ex's would ever do that

I loved this one.  I really love it when Luke asks Lorelai to T.J. and Liz's wedding.  They look beautiful dancing together.  I think it is really a turning point for them when lorelai finally notices him.  Thats what makes this such a wonderful epsoide.  As well as that T.J. and his obession with tights is really funny. Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

In this episode Luke´s sister Liz marries T.J in a "Renaissance wedding" where they all get dressed up in medieval-ish clothing.
T.J. wears tights and talks a lot  about them  Grin.

T.J.: I am lovin' these tights. They're fantastic. They lend support everywhere you need it, but they breathe.

This is the epsoide I have repeated the most.  I believe at last count it was 12 times I have watched it.  That is how much I love it.  I agree that this is when Lorelai and Luke really first get together Roll Eyes.  I think it is really beautiful.

so i think we can all agree that the troubaodur-minister song never gets old.  I think it might be th funniest gilmore moment yet.  And did y'all see the face Jess makes? Priceless!!

Great episode, especially the Luke/ Lorelai dance--so cute!

I love Jess, but I'm kinda torn over his proposal.  I agree with Lane that it is incredibly romantic for a guy to show up and want to take you away, but on the other hand i can hear the "WTF!" "what was he thinking?" argument.  He shows up in her life, which has been moving forward without him for the past year, and asks her to give up everything and trust that it'll all work out.  I can see her skepticism. 

I do feel bad for Jess too, the look on his face is so hurt.  My sister pointed out that he gave up awful fast.  I don't know about that- she was pretty harsh with the "no"

So (i'm new here this is my first post!) i am dying to know when jess comes in when dean and rory are talking at Yale how did jess find out where rory lives? was this never mentioned... or did i just miss it?

p.s. it was cool of jess to ask her that but it would be really unrealistic for rory to go away to new york
p.p.s. i LOVE the wedding l/l finally got together!
p.p.p.s. jess' face when the guy was singing that weird song was amaaaazing

This is a very good episode. I just finished watching it. I agree I felt bad for Jess, he's the best one for Rory. She's grown a lot since Dean, and well, I haven't seen Logan yet, but I can already tell I probably won't like him much. Undecided
