This quiet period doesn't seem right at all.  Oh, I saw a clip on E! News (I don't know why I watch it) but they were talking to Lauren and Dax Shepherd interrupted and was going nuts over the fact that Lauren mentioned Gilmore Girls.

I think he is waiting for the GG movie as well.

Is Amy writing the movie right now and let's all hope it doesn't end up like those awful Sex & the City movies.  Particularly the 2nd one.

I saw that, too.  It was pretty funny.  His favorite shows are Gilmore Girls, Sopranos, Gilmore Girls reruns and then something I can't remember.  I like Lauren's new show Parenthood, mainly because of her.

I'm still not that sure if I want a GG movie.  Yes, I would love to see them all together with Amy doing the writing but I think that it has been too long.  Yes, I would watch it in a heart beat if it was made but it isn't something I am craving.

I've never seen any of the Sex and The City Movies.  Actually didn't watch more than a hand full of episodes of the show either.

Have you seen the new book The Gilmore Girls Companion?  I have it (ordered it back in April 2009 and it was released right before Christmas 2010).  It has some good and fun interviews, though none with Lauren, Alexis, Scott, Amy or Dan, but still some good ones from others in the cast and crew.  There are a lot of little tid bits I never knew.

I heard about that GG Companion book.  I hope it gets a wider release so I can find it at my local Barnes & Noble.

Hope you have been able to get a copy of the book.  Have you heard that Lauren is writing a book right now?  It is kind of a novel/biography so I gather and will be titled (at least so far) "You'll Never Make It".  Not sure when it will be published since she is still writing it.  I can't wait to read it.

Anyone here watching "Parenthood"?  I love the show.

This was a fun thread. And in honor of being off topic: I can't decide if I'm going blind or the text on my phone is really small but I can't read ANYTHING! :/ Not as young as I once was, huh? Wink
