Erm, yes, so I have no idea if the number is right. But it sounded right. Heh.

Fanfiction, my friends, is a wonderful thing. As we, the fans, have no real control over what happens in the actual show, we still have the opportunity to simply make up what we want to see happen. (And if you're a bitter Lit, you sometimes tend to live vicariously through fanfic. Hah.)

I'm going to cache an old thread, so I can get the old recs up here, but if anyone has anything that they think needs to be added to the front post, PM me, or post here.

Places to post/find fanfics:
Fanfiction.net (Beware. F-f.net has the tendency to be very annoying, and you also sometimes have to wade through the muck to find the good stuff.)
Black, White, and Read (Also check out their beta reader site, Fundamental Things...Applied)
The .ORG challenge LJ community (Not currently all that active, but we can fix that!)

Reccomendations:
The .ORG Lit Fanfic Archives--a C2 that contains fics picked by Tina, Michelle, and Claire. Everything in there is amazing, and is definitly essential for any Lit.

The Writers:
If you've written things, give us a link to your stuff, and will put it up here.

Thank you for the warning about ff.net.  I was once a young GG fan on a quest for fanfiction, and I, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (what does that mean, anyways?) found my way to ff.net.  It was bad.  I was discouraged.  It only takes one Michel/Lorelai or Rory/Luke fic to make you sob uncontrollably into your pillow for hours.

But aaaaaanyways...on Black & White & Read, my username is JavaJunkie (I know, how clever).  I will link it if necessary.

Oh, yeah, I've got a friend who once stumbled upon Luke/Taylor fic. Ack.

I've learned that fans of every fandom tend to come up with every possible pairing, not just the obvious ones. (As proven by my finding of a Sirius/Beakbuck HP fic. Eeek.)

It would be nice if you could give a link, but I could always find it later. (I'm, er, techinically supposed to be doing homework.)

Oh that is sick.  I honestly don't think any GG fans are sick enough to write something with Paul Anka or Cat Kirk.  At least none of the ones I know.

I stumbled across a Luke/Rory fic once. It was... really disturbing. It was rated PG-13 yet it was... not. Very "Lolita"-ish. Only I didn't enjoy it.

Bah. SoA. Actually, I'd love to finish the next chapter, but...that pretty much weighs on when I have time. Maybe this weekend...hopefully. I know what I want to write, finding the time to write is the hard part. But, yeah, I'm thinking of concentrating on SoA and putting WKOP on hiatus for awhile.

I just wrote my first gilmore girls fanfiction script and I was wondering if anyone would proof read it for me, not really for spelling and stuff but mostly to see if the characters sound right. I would just like to have an opinion before I post it for the whole world to see. The only thing I ask is that you be up to date with the new season 6 episodes of GG, because it takes place now. and it's about Jess coming back <3 you can reply to this or send me a private message or IM me.
