Yeah the "new understanding" thing is not giving me a good feeling. I keep thinking, what if it means that they kiss and they say that they can't go through another heartbreak so they decide just to be friends. Ugh, god, I hope that is not true. But I can't think of anything else it could be. Does anyone have a positive theory for the new understanding? It'll make us JJs feel better.

i said the same exact thing before... my sister told me that maybe the new usnderstanding is that they need to tell each other evey thing if they want to give it an other try but then the new understanding could be well ya sure we kissed but maybe we just arent right for each other that way even though we will always love each other but lets still be friends. BUT in that interveiw lauren had with mike she made it sound that it would end on a good note with luke and lorelai because she was like using the movies as an example and sayin well of course she doesnt belong with THAT guy. she was comparing it to the show with her and luke. every one knows that they belong together and she also said that the show was set up for her and luke to get together so i am just trying to take in what she said and make the "new understanding" her and luke have hopefully be somehintg positive!!!

*swigs bottle of fake booze*  *hic*  Yeah, sure.  The show is actually going to imply that Lorelai and Luke don't get together.  *burp*  Won't the studio lot go up in flames and a 10 foot tall creature with fangs and claws emerge to gobble up all the producers and writers if that happens?  At the very least, their computers will break due to the sheer volume of irate emails.  *giggle-snort-belch*

^^  I see we're getting ready for tonight's episode, love it.    I haven't posted much here because, well, there are no new spoilers anymore, for obvious reasons and, well, L/L, *shrugs*. 

I still want to know what Lorelai says to Rory when she "begs" her to help make the decision and am glad I finally get to find out tonight.  Yeah, that's all I've got.  I’m sure I’ll be back at 8:00 to clear my system of “bu-bye Logan’s”.

So, another new episode tonight.  And this is so bittersweet.  I'm interested to see how it all pans out, though I'm still nervous about the whole proposal thing.  I'm still kinda hoping that the break-up wasn't all true.  But, that's me, a large Logan fan.  I guess we'll find out tonight huh?  Lordy-be.

No, Dani the alcohol and drugs did not work, despite the fish costumes and those crazy flashing lights it was still sianara Logan.  I know he's mentioned in the next episode which surprises me because it seemed Lorelai and Rory said their final words on the subject: wide open, wide wide open without the man you love, just peachy. 

Sheesh I bet you JJ's are happy you read spoilers, for the non spoiled this looks like they’ll just be friends.   

iluvLandL17, no need to yell   He bought the necklace as well, which Liz said she made with Lorelai in mind but he denied that it was for Lorelai, it was just a backup for Rory.  He overheard Lorelai telling Miss Patty and Babbette in the diner that the song was no big deal and just a karaoke thing.  Then when he went back into the diner to get the earrings to give to Lorelai for Rory he left the box with the necklace in it in the drawer and only gave Lorelai the present for Rory.

I kind of agree that they're not ready for marriage yet but the route the writers took was just a shot in the hearts of Rogan fans. Almost 3 years of them together, with people invested in their relationship, it shouldn't have ended this way.

*passes bottle kind of sloppily. I've had too much already*. Even without reading spoilers and knowing ahead of time she was saying no, the fact that she hesitated would have been the first red flag that she would reject. Yes, it is like Rory to think things over but if you really love someone and you "supposedly" pictured the 2 of you engaged/married, you wouldn't be able to get yes out fast enough. And the whole trying the ring on and smiling, it's never that easy in Gilmore world. Something happens to dampen your spirits. I feel so bad for the Rogan fans that didn't know about the break up ahead of time, they must have been suffering pretty badly. At least the spoiler readers had time to prepare for the worst. And what's with Logan giving Rory an ultimatum? That was very Lorelai of him. It's not like him to do that. I just don't understand the thought process the writers went through to get this. Hmmm maybe it went something like "let's do whatever we can to really stick it to those Rogan fans". Well, they succeeded my friends, they succeeded.

*takes a swig* Ahhhh.  What about Rory saying yes but with a long engagement?  That could have worked.  She could have taken all the time in the world to make decisions while Logan got settled in Cali.  She has to have a home somewhere no matter what, what’s wrong with San Fran?  It doesn’t tie her down in any way that SH doesn’t. 

I guess I’m more sympathetic with Logan, probably has to do with the spoilers.  I don’t like the ultimatum.  Not one bit, very uncharacteristic.  It was an emotional moment though so I can see some overreaction being plausible but an ultimatum?!?  Was he supposed to try and talk her into it some more?  I don’t know it’s just all wrong.

i have a question and please some one please answer.... but when luke and lorelai kiss do you think that they will talk about it after or will just go to a commercial break and jump right over it? i need a good point of view other than my sister who said there they kiss and thats the last scene and i was like no no no thats not the last scene... lol please some one that has ALOT better  point of veiw than that please please please share it with me because my sister has gotten me to think the worst   ...lol and she watches the show to but i guess she isnt as big of a fan as i am.

Yeah, a long engagement would have worked too. It's not you get engaged and you have to get married immediately. There would have been nothing wrong with each of them getting settled with their jobs and going long distance. They've done it before successfully and they could do it again. I think that's what annoys me the most. The total lack of consideration for the ship supporters.

And I'm kind of more sympathetic with Logan too. The ultimatum was bad but, bluntly, he got shot down. He proposed to his girlfriend in public (probably because he thought there were no signs she would say no). He wasn't afraid to share his feelings in front of a group of people. I give him a lot of credit for that and for giving Rory the space she needed to make the decision. Despite my disapproval with the ultimatum/not wanting to go backwards, he definitely deserves someone better (sorry Rory, you could have been the one).
