Anyone into grundge rock like Nirvand and Alice In Chains? I love both bands and I actually got to see Alice In Chains in concert. They were awesome. Wasn't as good without the original lead signer (RIP), but still really good.

Oh yeah, didn't one of the Soundgarden members start Temple of the Dog? I only remember a few songs of theirs, Hunger Strike, and Your Saviour.. I like those a lot, but I can't really remember any others.. I'll have to start downloading lol. Do you like Courtney Love and Hole?

I think so. They also did Say Hello 2 Heaven. They started the band for a friend of theirs who died. He also was in a band, but I can't remember which one.
I really haven't heard anything by Love or by Hole.

the temple of the dog was great. almost as good as pearl jam's first album
ye, ok i dunno if i should post this here but eitherhow, i did this initially as a pisstake or actually a test. but it turned out pretty good (actually, it's pretty cheesy and basic) but ye. y'all know Lauren Graham's instaclassic rambling from "Santa's Secret Stuff", well i was bored yesterday, and i was just noodling around in fruityloops making some track and i thought, i should stick that small monologue into the track, so i ripped the audio, slowed it down a tad while keeping the original pitch and then just started fiddling around. after one hour of just beatmaking, i decided it would be fun to cut up the vocals, a lot. so i did. ok enough of my rambling, here ya go, the style of music is cheesy house, take a listen anyways.

Luke: It’s different.
Dean: It’s not different. You and me. Same thing.

I love rock. That and alternative are my two favorite music genres.

Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam go hand in hand. Those are two darn good bands! I think it was members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden..and maybe some other bands? Hunger Strike is such a good song! I like to try to sing along to it whenever it is on the radio.
I too, enjoy the stuff like Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, etc. I would say my all time favorite from the 90's grunge-esque bands would be 'Mad Season.' Its a few folks from Alice in Chains and another band. I would put the album in my all time top 10...its amazing!

A total must have people: I just got the Greatest Hits by Blondie. I have had plenty of their songs on my iPOD but I just love that I have a CD now. It is really cheap at Wal-Mart. I highly recommend it
