I think two hours would be enough to tie things up. Most likely the movie would not pick things up exactly where the series ended--some time will have passed, so an assumption could be made of progress in the lives of the characters. Maybe it would pick up at the point of the presidential election completed and Rory completing her stint on the campaign trail with O'Bama--she would then be more mature and ready to start a new phase of her life (renewed relationship time with Logan maybe??). This would also have allowed enough time to go by for Luke and Lorelai to get their relationship on solid ground again -- and get them to the point where they could get married and start a family.

it is great news! i'm really curious about knowing what Amy originally had in mind and I think we're gonna have a lot of questions answered in this one. I'm probably biased too cuz anything that involves more of GG would be good news for me!  |

This is all I ask for. I would love more Episode for sure but a 2 hour movie is just fine with me. But I think without a doubt Alexis will be holding out. I think she was the main problem with an 8th season. I dont really see her having a great career in movies. Just my opinion.

I think that they should have had a two hour season finale, i thought that they rushed through that to much, so the idea of a 2 hour tv movie sits all right with me now, after thinking about it from 6:45 to now (3:55)

It would be nice if they could do that. The last episode did not close up all of the plot lines. It would be interesting to see what she had in mind. I would guess she probably has a whole movie in her head.

Now is where I start wondering. Does she imagine picking it up at the end of S7 or will she ignore S7 all together and start at the end of S6? Hmmm. I suppose the end of S7 since she said tie up all loose threads…

I think if they did do it it would be nice not only for us but also for the story. I mean in someway I think we deserve it since many of us were disappointed with the finale. I think the girls story isn't over quite yet. I mean I wanna know about whats gunna happen with Rory and I wanna see the Luke and Lorelai wedding!! Though we may not see it ever I just want to see more. I think we all deserve it.
