Oh, wow, it does, thank you so much. You don't know how many sleepless nights you've avoided!! So how's being a sophmore? At my high school, it was in forms (I live in New Zealand), so your first year of high school your're a 3rd former. And everyone calls you a turd former. It sure feels great when you move up to 4th form and can call other kids that

It's pretty nice being a sophmore. I am the big kid on campus now so thats nice. How old are you when you finish school in New Zealand?

17 or 18, depending on when your birthday is. Our school year starts in Feb, and ends in Dec, except in High School you leave in October, cuz after that you're on study leave

our school year in america starts in August or September and ends in May or June, depending on the school. We get off a couple months for summer. In New Zealand do you have warm weather in the time you have off? I dont really know how the weather and months work on the other side of the world from me.

Yup, here it's summer Nov-Feb, but really it's more like Dec-Mar, so yeah, we have summer in the time we get off. It's currently winter here right now. Although, it's crazy sunny outside. Probably cold though.

I heard that people who are left handed were supposed to be twins but...I dunno, they weren't. I don't know if it's true though. I'm left handed, that's why I know lol. But when I started school, nobody noticed, so they were always like, use your right hand, so now technically, I write with my right hand, I eat like I'm left handed and some other things too...

I think that the whole season on the other side of the planet thing(haha I have no idea what it's called. Didn't pay much attention in geography lol) is kind of interesting. But I'm still amazed with time difference haha so that's just me.

Because differnt parts of the earth are facing the sun at different times. So if there weren't different zones, people on one side of the earth would be having their daytime in the dark.
As for the twin thing, often one of 2 identical twins is left handed. Something to do with the way the embryo splits.

I've heard that too.
A couple of years ago I was best friends with twins.
They told all these random facts which bored me then, but I guess it comes in handy.


And speaking of nicknames, I have a couple.

One is Kiki, which is a horrid name, but in freshman year, my friends decided that we should all shorten ours names.
Another is Kalili, because it rolls off the tounge.

And my favorite is Zucchini. In 7th grade we started this fake family thing, starting with me and my friend, Emily marrying each other. Not because we were dating or anything, we just wanted to. So Zucchini became her pet name for me, and she was Fried Squash.

So, i'm a foreign exchange student here in America, and I've been with my hostfamily for about 10 days. I was at camp for 2 weeks first, in Boston. We had a loot of fun!!
I live around 2 hours away from Chicago and Detroit. It's in Michigan. My hostparents are great, and i'm getting a hostsister from Germany in about 1 week. I'm going to post pics later!
