Maggie, I agree with Stacy. I don't know much about guys, but I know your best friends girlfriend is definitely forbidden! I don't think you should put that guy in such a situation.

Bill - ...I was seriously  when I read this. It's like a pandemic! Here, so many kids are suicidal. Every now and then in the newspapers it's "Girls jumped off a church tower", "Boy put fire to himself", "Girls hanged herself"...it's awful! I really don't know what to tell you...but if you need to talk about it, you should! To anyone, even if it's making you sad, you should let it out, because if you keep it in you can only harm yourself. I hope your friends are going to be ok.

Bill- One of my friends was suicidal for a while. She was in rehab too. I dont really know how to help, but I know how it feels. I was the only person who knew. Everyone would make up rumors as to where she was, and I just had to go along with it. So, if you want to talk about it, you can always PM me.

Thanks.  Last night I was really upset, and like freaking out.  I've got a handle on myself now.
Rory- I know what you mean about people making up rumors.  I was having pizza with some other friends and they started talking about one of them, and I wanted to tell them to shut the f*** up, but instead I said she wasn't coming back for a while and changed the subject.
I guess I just have to accept that this is what has happened, but I know they're both getting better, so it's actually a good thing. 
It's good to talk about it.

About the rumors, yeah, make sure you don't tell anyone the truth, no matter how upset you get. We're all here for ya.

I'm just worried because I know that people are going to start asking if I know where they are.  I was talking to the one who's allowed to talk, and she's telling me the story to tell people.  "This week I have pneumonia and next week my aunt is going to die. And hopefully I'll be back after Spring Break."  They're both supposed to hopefully come back after Spring Break, which is good I guess.

It's best to act as tho you "don't know where they are" even if they talk about them; don't start talking with them, just slowly change the subject. It must be hard though.. and i'm sorry for what your going through & how your feeling.
Just remember; even though we aren't "there" for you; we're still "here" for you.

Yeah, like Mel said, try not to join a coversation that is envolving them.
A good excuse is to simply say that they are visiting relatives. And that they should be back after spring break.

Yeah I just got back from church and my friend Becky was there (she's one of the ones in rehab).  And another friend was asking me about her.  And I just said she wasn't coming back for while and that it was personal and I'll see you at school tomorrow.
Becky seemed good.  There was this motivational speaker guy who was really weird, but kind of cool I guess, and we were enjoying ourselves.

I'm doing all right, thanks. 
Today in reading class a girl asked me where she was, and I said, "I don't know..I think she's visiting some relatives."
And someone with whom I'm kind of friends was like "I know where she is."
And I gave her a look and said, "So do I.  She's visiting relatives."
And that was all that really happened in that department.  But I've probably been sitting around thinking about this too much.

Hey there. I've been MIA from the boards for a while, but I was just back reading...

It seems that this past year has been really rough with suicides and deaths in general. They've hit home for me and several of my friends recently. It's tough and we have to remember to be grateful for the one who are able to get help before they are taken from us. I don't  want to but in any more than that.

I'm about to leave for school and I wanted to stop by and say that my friend Megan (who I haven't seen or heard from in weeks, and who doesn't think we even know what's going on) texted last night saying she'll be at school today!  I'm so happy.
