That is an amazing seagull picture! How did you get a view like that, he's like.. looking into the camera! Also, what a pretty back yard view! It's so pretty with the sun set and the snow!

And Melissa, very pretty flower! I can't wait for you to find more!

Hi everybody

Oh my word! Talkingfriend, those look freaking cool! The no flash is something I always try to do, and I don't like posing flowers in like vases, so I think you cracked the technique on the head

hey thanks a lot  Smiley

Marlies, all of the pictures are awesome, as always  Wink

thanks seni.the bear pics are too cute..
and you are right about the Hogwarts pic.it does look like a harry potter pic..lol

Mmmm I've been searching for more nice pictures and I've found these ones:

ah i really like the sunset one..

The torch put amazing shadows in your picture, Marlies. It really brings out the color. I love it!

thanks....i am just playing around..and that technique really suits me..i think.. Smiley

leire, i really like the flower pic...nice colours..but unfortunately..i think they are a little out of focus..at least it seems a bit like it..to me....
but i like your pics..keep up all the posting..

Wow - Marlies, what a great idea for a thread! I'm so going to get into this, now that I have time. I have tons of pics I've taken and I have such a passion for photography. I'll have to dig up some of my archives to share my own work. I'm MIA from the org and there are so many great new threads. Marlies, you're brilliant.

melissa, first of all thanks...i just had the feeling there was a need for this kind of thread..and i guess i was right..me brilliant?..hmm....ok...lol..just joking  Cheesy
it took me really long to find out what the MIA thing meant...man how stupid..and i call myself a gilmore fan...
nice pics..keep them coming...
nice to see you in the thread

talkingfriend beautiful shots of the flowers. extraordinary.

thanks  Smiley
i am flower obsessed at the moment

Marlies, I love you're flower pics. I work at a Greenhouse so those are very fun for me to see!

thanks...oh wow...that would be the right job for me at the moment..but i guess i would just constantly take pics
i have no idea where this flower phase came from..i love it..

Here is a seagul picture I took a while ago.

Nice Hibiscus Melissa. Wink
Thanks, I need to know more about flowers to organize my pics.  I never can remember the names, sounds like I know who to ask now!  Smiley

Here is a seagul picture I took a while ago.
I gotta hear the story behind this one....  Has this been edited with PS at all, not meant as a criticism, it just looks so incredible it almost looks like it's been painted!

Marlies - Congrats on Graduating and what a gift!  I'm so jealous!  I can't wait to see some new shots from your new toy!  I've always had a dream of taking a camera and a car, then just going anywhere - ya know with no pressures no times etc...

@talkingfriend ---> Hi! I noticed that the flower picture is out of focus too, but I wanted to share it with you because the colours are pretty.

Glad you like the pcs though! I'll add some more soon.

Melissa: Nope! Not edited at all. It was in Duluth at canal park. (On Lake Superior for those of you out of towners.) You know how crazy the seaguls are there.

Marlies: SO SO JEALOUS!!! My uncle refurbishes cameras and computers for a hobby. I think it may be time to pay him a visit.

Thanks everyone for the photo comments. Here are a few more for you:

Sunrise, very very early sunrise on Lake Michigan.

Sunset in Northern Wisconsin:

Prairie somewhere. I honestly don't remember.

I am more of a landscape artist if you haven't noticed yet.
