I was mad with Logan basically this whole episode.  "Don't put me in, let me factor you in my life" or something like that.  So really, Rory's just supposed to not think about him at all and let him worry about her, but she isn't really supposed to give a thought about him.  It just bothered me.  And maybe, like some of you said, it's nice he's letting her choose her own path, but I took that the other way, like Rory wasn't suppoed to even consider him and he was suppoed to work her in...I think the statement he made could go either sweet or horrible...I took it horrible.

I'm happy Rory got her job...that was nice, even though she's not taking it.

And we figured out the twins names...Steve and Quam or something...what were they exactly?  We never saw Lane, which was kind of sad, but still.  Have we heard anything about Sookie's pregnancy recently?

The Luke/Lorelai stuff seemed weak to me...it was nice they made up, and next week looks better, but the scene created no emotion in me at all.

I absolutely LOVED Luke's bracelet.  And April looked SO much older in this episode.

And the town troubadour was so good to see back...it was cool.  Although, I don't know how happy Lorelai was to see the way out of the maze...just a thought but she almost seemed a bit annoyed he told her the way out...is this only seen by me?  Or maybe she was just mulling things over.  I don't know.

I'm so happy it's back.  And the episodes are getting fantastic.

 Cheesy
OMG this eppy was amazing!!!!!!! I think that this one set a record for speed-talking! THE GILMORE GIRLS AS WE KNOW THEM ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If one episode could save a show, I think this one could do it. It brought back all the quirky characters we love, and verything was just... back. Back to normal.
I love that Lorelai and Logan made up!
And Rory's pro-con list!
AND EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish they would have showed us Lane and Kwon on and the other kid whose name I've already forgotten  Huh
I actually laughed at this episode. That hasn't happened in a while.
I'm sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!
April is so much better - she's taken a flat iron to her hair, wears earrings, and talks fast.  Shocked YAYAYYYYY!!!!!!
GO GILMORE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this the first we hear of Lane's babies names?  I am guessing one was named by Lane - Kwan- and Steve was named by Zack

omg it was so great...eeek

and downwithchris i totally got the Lorelai wearing the flannel pattern and Luke all in black, totally.  I was like, omg she is wearing the flannel shirt!

I think we see the twins soon, Kwan and Steve lol omg adorable

April was talking so fast and all about the books, and I love that she is more sciency than Rory was.  Kirk was hilarious on the stilts and then with the head thing during the meeting

and Maury and Babette and Sookie and it was great, so Gilmore, seriously, I am on like a Hay Bale high right now

Tonights episode was alright. I loved the hay bale maze, I wonder if it will still be there in the next episode. Anyway, I wish they would show Lane more and not just Zack. I want to see the babies that we hear so much about. I cant wait to see next weeks episode, I wonder whats going to happen between Lorelai and Luke. Probably not much, but I can hope. I'm just happy that theres new episodes... FINALLY.

I liked the episode.  At the town meeting I was scanning everyone to see who was there-loved to see so many of them.  Had to laugh at Taylor's allergic reaction to the hay and how everyone else just loved.  The high of hay!  Been around some hay and it never made me that happy.  Wink  I liked the talk between Lorelai and Logan-he is not my favorite but thought he was good in that scene.  Pie anyone?

oh i'm sure that he didn't say that...the writers would never do that, the script would never be passed or whatever by all the upper people if it said that, and the cast would never have accepted that, in the run through/pre read room or whatever and whatnot, he might have said something close but not that

Logan is adorable...putting on socks Smiley

Regarding all these comments - i also heard something LIKE this - but now i don't remember what i figured it out to be. I forgot until i read these posts.  Just my other comments then here - Lorelai seemed in her element again, being protective of Rory.  But i did not buy all of what Logan said.  It just seemed like set up for LOrelai's speech and not fully believeable.  LIke all his "go for it" stuff - i think he would be still reeling from the big mess-up. But i liked parts of the kitchen talk.  I have to confess, i snuck over to Dancing With the Stars to watch the replay of Apolo's Samba. excellent! Perfect tens.  I love Apolo - he's one of my heros.

I liked the maze. It was a funny. Bit.  I detected a Casablanca reference  "I'm shocked - shocked to find cooking going on here!"  And then a Trading Places reference. "Food costs money, Rent costs money" Which is said TO THE RICH GUY who is now broke! (hehehe - good one there). LATER.

I'm actually quite confused on my feelings towards this episode.  Huh At first I think it was totally boring especially all the "Will Rory or Won't Rory...?" questioning. Not to mention Rory was talking way too fast and mumbling for me to hear what she was saying most of the time. I hated the way Lorelai was portrayed as being snobby and petty towards Logan. Angry I couldn't find any good references or phrases that jumped out at me. Also there was no Lane and very little townie lines. Poor Kirk was in a Minotar costume the whole time and then was on stilts with very few lines. Also where were all the "dirties" when Babbette kept on mentioning the salt nuts, huh?  Wink There weren't enough fast/bonding scenes between Lorelai and Rory even though they were in the episode a lot together. Strange thing to say there but I can't explain it any other way. The teaser was boring, they should've had the town meeting discussing the Hay Maze as the teaser. I thought Lorelai's confession to Luke and vise versa was too straightforward for their characters but....

on the other hand the parts I loved- I loved how Lorelai's conversation with Logan gave her the encouragement to talk to Luke and let all her feelings out on it.  Nod I liked how concerned and motherly she was about Logan in the kitchen. I especially liked how when after Lorelai narrowed her eyes at Logan and said: "Well alrighty then..." and then jumped back into social mother Lorelai. The maze was a very creative idea and very Taylor but when I saw the crane lifting the gazebo I cried out "No!" Wall  I was hoping that they wouldn't DROP it I would've seriously started crying   Cry I also thought Luke with the bracelet on was hysterical and especially when Lorelai spotted it on him I was craking up!  Cheesy  I liked the conversation between Lorelai and Luke in the maze because they so needed that. I liked how happy Lorelai was after it. Smitten I also thought Kirk in the minotar costume was hysterical because I was wandering what the heck a cow had to do with the maze.  Tongue  I LOVE all the CLASSIC scenes that reminded me of the old days; Luke fighting it out with Taylor, the townspeople vs Taylor at the meeting, Taylor being Taylor, the Troubadour finally making an appearance this season, most of the townies made an appearance, Rory making her Pro/Con list, and Lorelai was teasing with Luke. I actually loved April in this episode because she REALLY did look like a normal soon-to-be-teenager and she was very open with Luke. I loved how happy she was to see Lorelai and how Lorelai was happy to see her even with everything that happened in the past. For a second when that was happening I somehow got a flash in my head that Lorelai and Luke in that scene seemed like parents with their teenager... was it just me?  Tongue

So loved this episode but hated it at the same time... I'll probably give it another try later.  Lips Sealed Yes I got the maze metephore too. I got when Lorelai lost her way, kept hitting dead ends and then ran into Luke who already knew how to get out.

I actually have been waiting to see the next episode more than this one so I hope it's as good as what I think and saw from the commercial.
