not really, then again, i don't really flaunt my somewhat obsession with the show. one of my mates don't get the show and he said it sucks a couple of times, but he watched a uberblownupdramadrivenplot show like the OC so i took his word with a pinch of salt really

I only have 3 friends that don't like GG.
2 of them are kids so they wouldn't know any better and one of them is an adult who won't even give it a chance but still says it sucks. I just don't bring up the show in front of them.

On a happier note!
I have this one adult friend who is a major horror fan, all the movies she has are horrors and if they aren't horrors, they are silly cartoons like ren and stimpy and family guy but she absolutely looooooves GG! Its one of the first family shows I've seen her actually enjoy!

Most of my friends watch GG, but none are obsessed. I've converted some into semi-adorers though!

They all think that Im crazy because I'm so obsessed.....

Same here! Lol. Like, if anything happens in real life, it reminds me of a moment on the show and I say it. They usually call me an obsessed freak, haha.

But, most of my friends don't want GG. And let me tell you, I have a LOT of friends and saying that most of them don't watch GG is like... hard to believe. I can only talk about it with some of my friends but they're occasional watchers. They don't watch it and talk about it much here so they get confused when I talk to them.

That's why I came to this site. You can actually discuss with people who actually know what they're talking about. =D

Lol, me too! They have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. Example... my friend said she didn't like nuts in her brownie, I said 'You're nuts!' She's like 'I'm nuts?' And I said 'Nooo! You're supposed to say YOU'RE DOUBLE NUTS!' Yeah, so I spent a good fifteen minutes of my life trying to explain that to her. People who don't watch GG are so dense. Wink

Most of my friends don't. I mean there are a few that I've gotten to watch. And I've gotten one of my friends hooked (that was pretty fun Roll Eyes ) Anyways, one of my best friends in the world said that she 'can't seem to get through and epiosde' and that's because she doesn't have that long of an attention span. She can't follow the characters. But you know whatever. And all of my guy friends would be caught dead watching Gilmore Girls. But there are a few of my friends who can casually talk about it with me.. I did have a sub last year that I had all of the time that did watch gilmore girls. So I used to talk about the show all of the time.

I can't find anyone that likes GG where I live! It's pure insanity! My best friend is in love with Sex and the City, and wouldn't lay eyes on an episode of GG if her life depended on it. She watched one episode and was bored out of her mind. Roll Eyes (I can say the same about Sex and the City! Okay, I liked one episode, and I've only watched two. Cheesy ) I don't know anyone that likes GG, or maybe I do and they're 'in the closet' fans. Cheesy When I express my love for Milo Ventimilgia everyone looks at me like I'm crazy because they've never heard of him! I guess because where I live is considered or referred to as the 'ghetto' and GG isn't a TV show that people that live here would be interested in. Roll Eyes

Ha, it's usually my mom and I watched my Season two Dvds over and over, cheering when Jess and Rory kiss at Sookie's wedding. Cheesy She's a Literati, and Jess fan, I love it! Hearts My brainwashing skills have paid off. Cheesy Grin

None of my friends watch GG (or so they say). So I basically have to come on here to discuss the girls. Its funny though because I didn't really get into GG until a few years ago. At first I was like "yuck silly teenage WB show", but then I was flipping through the channels and was hooked!!! Its such a smart show, I love shows that make you think.  Anyway, so I just came out about my GG watching last year and they were all shocked but have now come to realize that half the stuff that comes out of my mouth is GG related. As for guy friends...they say they don't watch it. HOWEVER! I know for a fact that one of them does because I was wearing my GG shirt one day and he started talking with me about the show, come to find out he also had a crush on me, but hey if I can use my charm to get more guys to watch GG than thats a plus hahaha.

At least you have your mom Brenda. Nobody in my house watches GG besides me. None of my friends watch it and of course I'll mention it a few times but other than that I'm a loner. Except when I come on here. I love it! I did have a teacher once, like Mary, that had all the GG dvd's but I didn't talk to her much. So usually when I go to school my obsession is bottled up inside me until I get on here. Its hard!  Grin

Dude, you're so lucky! I wish my mom watched GG! Even if she did, she would think I'm a pervert for watching Rory and Jess kiss. That's why I always have to watch GG without them knowing. They already know my crazy obsession so I think it's best for them to stay away from me. Cause when something bad happens, I get mad... REALLY mad. They stay away from me on Tuesdays from 7-8. I call it 'me time'. =)

Maybe you could use your brainwashing skills to help me. MY FRIENDS THINK JESS IS FUGLY! Whatever, they're still nice. They just know never to say that infront of me, now. Hehe.

Rachel- Your teacher watched GG?? I wouldn't care if she was mean or a bitch! I'd still talk to her about it! Atleast it's SOMEONE!

Haha! Nice. I haven't ordered an .org shirt yet, I do want one though. I would wear it to school too! I know that there has to be some GG fans at my school, I can't be the only one! Grin How cute, Chicks Dig Gilmore Guys...or I do...and that is how the little slogan thingy goes. Cheesy High Five What is your name by the way? I'm Brenda. Smiley

It's a conspiracy, Rachel! None of your family is interested? I make my cousin watch GG with me! He's only a couple months younger than me but he does everything I say...except moves off of the comfortable computer chair when I demand. Cheesy It would be so ackward talking to a teacher. Well, I wouldn't stay after school and discuss the show with her. Oh, I forgot about my aunt! She watches it from time to time. But, it's so annoying how she doesn't know what's going on! She's just full of questions, like, "Did Lorelai and Chris get married?" "When did Luke and Lorelai break up!?" "Is Rory still dating that blonde guy?" It's so annoying...but, I guess it's a good thing that I can "discuss" it with her. (Quotations because I'm usually doing more explaining than discussing.) Haha, I usually  jump on the .org right when I get home from school. Hearts All those bottled up emotions. Cheesy

You're not a pervert, Pri! If you are, then so am I! Cheesy I enjoy rewinding and rewatching the makeouts scenes, who's with me!? Hearts Haha, same here. When something on GG gets me mad, don't even argue the point with me because I'll explode. Like, when Chris and Lorelai broke up in the latest episodes, I was so mad! Oh goodness, I gotta go.
Ha, I'll try and work my skills later. I can't believe they think he's ugly! Shocked

Brenda- I know! Jess is FAR from fugly. Just so you know, I don't watch the makeout scenes. I watch the WHOLE episode, haha. I used to only watch the makeout scenes but I don't anymore. It makes me feel... weird.

In OTHER words... when I say Gilmore Girls... my friends say "Gilmore - Wha?" Yup.
