I would probably want to be Lorelai because a lot of people like her including Luke. Although I enjoy watching the Luke and Lorelai relationship develop so I might also want to be any town resisdent that gets to watch it first hand like Babette or Miss Patty. They always get the best gossip first.

hmmm.... lorelai for sure....

but my second choice would be paris i think because i am quiet and i wish i could be outspoken like her.  lol.  there is something cool about the fact that paris has such strong opinions and has never been afraid to share them.

Sorry you guys for changing the thread title but this way it's more clear to people what it's about. I've also merged another thread to this one, cause it was the same but added 'for a week'.

Personally I wouldn't wanna be one of them, cause eventhough my life feels like a sick soap most of the time I'm still good just being me.

Greetings WO.

How would it be like if your life was those on Gilmore Girls?  Would you enjoy it or do you think it would be a hassle?  Or maybe how do you think it would be to act out Rory or Lorelai or anyone else for a day?  Now is the time to share your thoughts!!

I wish I could be as witty as Lorelai and have the comebacks she has.  Sure if I would have talked like she does in front of my parents I probably would have been slapped.  Unfortunatly real life is rarely as well as it can be when lines are written and prepared, and then ironed out to see what works the best.

The show seems pretty idyllic, but it think seems is the key word here.  I don't think I'd really want to live their life in particular, because Lorelai has a lot of problems with her parents and there's certainly many other conflicts (love childs, nosy neighbours, etc.)  However, I do love Lorelai's house, and I'd be willing to take that on, especially if Luke came with the house. Grin

I love going into the Gilmore world, and it seems like a pretty good life, but it's not real, and there's no way on earth on could keep up with the witty sayings, and keep a Lorelai body on that diet.  But it must be a pretty cool world, if we all love entering it for an hour.

One of the most key things that attracts me to this show is that it is so foreign from my own. I come from a loving and supportive family, I am a happily married mother of two, and I am a really shy person so my relationships are sometimes difficult - it takes a long time to get to know me, I'm not extroverted in any way.  But I love this show so much - it gives a real "happy time" to my day, everyday.  I recently found out that I have M.S. and my life has kind been in turmoil for the past while - Gilmore Girls gets me through it and I will be forever grateful to "it"!  So, as far walking in their shoes, I am quite happy with my own but, in my own mind, for that hour a day, I do live amongst the Gilmore Girls in Stars Hollow.
