I think that it was too much when Emily went over to Chris's house and basically told him to break Lorelai and Luke up.  But I can also see why Emily wouldn't want Luke to marry Lorelai.  I mean, when you get to know him he is the sweetest guy, but I think if I told my parents I'm going to marry an unshaven, uneducated,  diner owner they wouldn'ty be thrilled either.
Chris and Lorelai come from the same lifestyle, they always get along so well and have so many of the same interests, Chris can survive friday night dinners, Luke can not, and he's Rory's father!!

It feels so weird to defend Luke, but he owns his own business, he could afford to loan Lorelai the money for the Dragonfly (or invest or whatever the transaction was), he is intelligent (I haven't seen any indication that they're portraying him as a dummy) and he probably has about as much education as Lorelai, who remember, is a high school drop out.  And, at least at this point, he made Lorelai happy.  I would think that last thing would bethe first thing a parent would look for.  Unless you're Emily Gilmore, in which case you check to see if any potential suitor popped out of the womb with a silver spoon in their mouth.  And, then, you make sure it was a 24 carat silver spoon, because anything less is tantamount to being a bum.

And, if Emily wasn't thrilled, she should have just griped to Richard or screamed into a pillow, or remembered that her daughter is pushing 40, isn't mentally deficient, and doesn't need mommy to control her life.

She can't dump Logan here.  They haven't even started dating yet.  They don't become exclusive until a few episodes from now.

I felt bad for Rory, but I knew she was assuming too much.

I hated how Emily came to talk to Christopher...grr that sucked.

I loved how Sookie always watched her show...when Lorelai was thinking she was having an affair or something...that was funny.

I'm glad Richard and Emily got back together.  Lorelai: My parents are having an affair!  That was a good line.

I loved Mrs. Kim and Zach agreeing on Lane's glasses.  And Lorelai knowing how to fix the stove.  And Doyle melting.

I just hate how when Emily says Luke isn't right for her, you know she is basing that off of nothing. My guess is right when Luke first walked through the door, Emily was determined not to like him. Emily is just too much sometimes.

I loved it when Lorelai was like  "Don't ask questions. Don't ask questions." over and over, that cracked me up.

I thought it was kind of cool how at the end you hear the Teletubbies theme song while Chris is thinking about what Emily said. Very serious moment with up-beat music. I don't know why I liked it, but I did.

I totally and completely hated what Emily did. First she put Christopher in a very tough and un comfrotable position which led him to break up L&L and that was horrible

Great episode indeed.  Luke and Lorelei seemingly more and more comfortable with each other.  He built a shelf for her and got her a TV.  She helped him fix his oven.

Poor Sookie and her work-habits, stealing candy bars and annoying Michel.  Kirk working at the Inn... cool.

Poor Rory, working to help Logan with his article and she wanted to come to his party and he decided not to.  You suck Logan...

Lane and the band invited to Lunar New Years party... Gil was awesome... that little kid was in that movie Kicking & Screaming (not to be confused of the classic debut film by Noah Baumbach that starred Chris Eigemen aka Jason "Digger" Stiles).  He ruled!  Screaming at Zach NATURE MUST WAIT!!!  I like Lane with the glasses more.  I'm surprised how Zach & Mrs. Kim agree about the glasses... that was nice.

Richard and Emily are back together... YAY!!!!!  Richard, jealous over Emily with another guy and finally, working out their issues.  Getting married, again.  Lorelei looking at a wedding dress was a nice touch.

It was all great, until that ending.  Emily coming to Christopher for the wedding invite and help him get Lorelei back and have her break-up with Luke.  Bad Emily!  Luke, wouldn't hold her down from anything at all.  I do like Teletubbies... it's awesome.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Emily referred to little GG as "this"

looked down at the child like she was a stain on the carpet.

There was nothing great about that talk or her rude behavior.

All the scenes at Mrs. Kim's were  hilarious, especially Gil jammin with the band.

and her showing Zach old pics of Lane with her glasses.
