Ya because when she was 16 she was like little girl / goody-good cute and now she like sleeps with Logan every night and that really makes me mad. I mean like that one episode when Rory likes trys to get Logan in bed with her and Logan yells at her and says something like "Rory I'm not a free for all and I'm not that shallow!" or something somewhat similar to that and Rory doesn't eve take him seriously and laughs about it!

This was the episode that turned Rory into a "slut"?  This was the episode where Rory lost her innocence?  Funny, if I was going to condemn Rory I would have thought that the moment she willingly slept with a married man was when she "lost her innocence."  At least she and Logan didn't completely disregard and betray a third innocent party.

I absolutely agree! I lost all respect for her when she slept with Dean

Hi folks,

yesterday I watched that episode Wedding Bell Blues for the first time. Absolutely great!!  Cheesy I also liked the music very much. I knew most of the songs but one piece:

when Emily walked down in her wedding dress for the ceremony and all the guests rose, a string quartet played this beautiful piece - what an amazing tune! I did not know (or recognize  Wink) that, could someone please tell me what is the name of that melody? It's so beautiful, I would very much like to play that on a Silver Wedding, does someone have a clue?

I did some research on the web, but all I could find were the titles of the songs played (Moon River ... wow! and of course Benny Goodman ...  Roll Eyes).

Thanks so much,
Michael

I personally really dont like Logan  Tongue and have no idea why sweet little Rory would want to go out with a jerk like him.  I mean come on! He is the kind of guy that can have 5 girls at once and none of then would care, Rory is not that kind of girl! What was wrong with Dean! and jess wasnt the greatest guy but he was better then Logan! Logan is soo stupid and mean and incnsiderate, im glad hes in London now, maybe Rory can get over him by the last episod

Yeah one of the best episodes in the show! The romance and the drama mixed into a great episode. Grin

Rory: Look how you just said, "Luke can waltz."
Lorelai: What, I'm just saying, I'm surprised that Luke can waltz.
Rory: That sounded more like, "I'm surprised I still have my clothes on."

Hi everyone! I'm Rach, and although I'm a new member, I've actually been coming to this site for a long long time! Am a huge Gilmore fan! I too love the song played when the girls are walking down the aisle in 'Wedding Bell Blues' and have been trying to figure out what it is since I heard it. Just love it, so beautiful! So if anyone can give me a heads up as to where i can find it/what it's called, would be much appreciated! Thanks guys

This is a good episode. We saw some special side of Richrd's & Emily's relationship. It was sweet how Richard remembered a song Emily liked 30 years ago. It showed how much he cares and notices the little details about her ( something we don't see everyday about the busy, workaholic Richard). So yes, that was a nice touch! I like how Emily told him that they should seperate more often. She wasn't the typical proud person we know at the moment, she was just someone who likes the attention from her husband... that was sweet!

Rory was still changing and searching at that time so I don't think that was so awful for her to face Logan about how she felt. I think people judge her so much that they forget she is still young and has the right to make as many mistakes as anyone. Also sometimes people compare her to Lorelai neglecting the fact that "Rory" is the daughter. Rory is more mature than Lorelai when she was her age.. Rory is still sometimes more mature. So the point is, If Rory felt something special about Logan then she should follow her feelings. Now was she the dating type? You all say no but Rory herself wasn't sure so she tried it ( and she only  tried it because she likes Logan so much). Beside it's a "Rory" kind of thing to try new things.

About Chris, at the time he just knew loss with his father, so he understood that life is fleeting and can't handle waiting , so he took (what he thought his last chance with Lorelai) and confessed her. Now was that stupid? In a way it was because he should have talked to her in private so he won't mess anything up but in another way it wasn't so stupid because he was scared of losing the love of his life ( plus he was drunk). You can't expect people to make sense when love is the matter.

About Luke, that was hard that Lorelai only told him about her spending all night with Chris drinking. She only told him because Chris was about to. So what does that say to Luke about their relationship? But he was so forgiving with her when they danced ( that was very classy of him) but people only can handel so little when their heart is being attacked. I think - like Chris- he was facing the threat of losing his love so that -I bet- was so scary and shaking. I don't think I can blame him. I only wish if he stood on his ground instead of leaving.

That was so typical of Emily to think she knows it all and that money is happiness. Come one! Are there still people who think that way? Emily should know that money doesn't bring her happiness or else why would she always need her family to be around? Why did she cried after her first date when she was seperated from Richard? She didn't need Richard because he is rich ( she has plenty of money herself) she needed him because she loves him.

Lorelai maybe had the hardest of time. She was dealing with Luke, Chris, Rory & Emily. I don't think there was much for her to do because things just kept coming.

I don't think Rory was really a slut here. She was VERY forward, but as I saw it she was high on the moment. She's at this big, fancy wedding and wedding where her grandparents are renewing her vows, as I saw it the conversation with her dad where he reminises about when he and Lorelai first kissed or something like that and he makes a comment along the lines of "Lorelai is a Gilmore Girl, when she knows what she wants she goes after it". And obviously Christopher isn't telling his daughter to go jump the first guy she sees, but is here feeling sorry for himself over his loss of Lorelai but Rory has had "Logan and whoever that blonde girl he's with" on the mind all night, and takes his anecdote as cue, to go after what she wants. I was still pretty surprised to see Rory be that forward, but I thought it was awesome when she asked him out. Now when she started kissing him I was like *blink* this is a whole new Rory, but I don't think it's all bad, these are imperfect characters, it makes them more real. I like that about the show anyway, here Rory was in high school, this stereotypical bookworm who is kind of shy but we still see make incredibly stupid mistakes sometimes, but we still love her. I'm not even sure I'd consider the Rory/Logan thing this episode an incredibly stupid mistake, she's certainly had much bigger lapses of judgment this season.

Can someone tell me what the naughty gift that Lorelai gives Emily at her party is?

Thank you.  Smiley
