Summary: Talk about bad timing. The night before Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily (Kelly Bishop) renew their vows, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) feel obligated to throw Emily a bachelorette party. At the ceremony the following day, Rory tells Logan (Matt Czuchry) she wants a relationship with him even though he's not ready to commit. Later, when Lorelai, Luke (Scott Patterson) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) discover Rory and Logan together, half-dressed, the shocking scene leads to an angry confrontation between Luke and Christopher. A furious Lorelai figures out that Emily invited Christopher in an attempt to break up her relationship with Luke.

This episode was really funny and sad and a little diffrent because I would have never thought that Luke would have  ever reacted that way, who knows about Chris. Anyway I love how lorelai went after Luke though because through the last four seasons you saw luke running after Lorelai and now it's the other way around and I am not saying it is a good thing because I would rather have them together.

I love the wedding in this episode.  It's so sweet and beautiful.  The whole renewing their vows after being seperated, Emily & Richard's dance, etc.  And Emily's so nervous because it's her wedding.

Simple.  Emily doesn't care about Lorelai.  She cares about who Lorelai should be, but not who Lorelai is.  Lorelai should want to marry someone with Christopher's background (he comes from money), so that's why.  But, forget that Lorelai wants to marry someone else.  If that person isn't satisfactory to Emily -Luke- she can't conceive that he would make Lorelai happy.  But, I'm probably giving her too much credit.  If she actually had a high opinion of Christopher, she would still be wrong (because it would still be thinking she knew what Lorelai wanted better than Lorelai herself did -and I'm so sick of both Richard and Emily acting like Lorelai is a child or brain dead) but at least she would have good intentions.  But, the woman doesn't even like Christopher!

That was great episode! Emily needs to quit budding into Lorelai's life! I love Lorelai and Luke together! Also Rory and Logan? What about them? I think that Logan is all wrong for Rory...she needs to be w/ Marty! He's so sweet and cute and really cares about her! Well thats my opinion!

I love this episode. Lots of Luke and Lorelai together. Emily pisses me off so much though, the way she thinks she's so wise and knows what's best for Lorelai. I wasn't surprised at all of the way Luke acted and yelled at Logan and Christopher. He's always been really protective of Rory. I also really liked the way Lorelai ran after Luke, as someone already mentioned.

I agree...Emily needs to mind her own business once in a while.  She needs to understand that Lorelai is an adult and is capable of making her own decisions.  Lorelai knows what's best for her and Rory, and Emily needs to start trusting her daughter.  I love how Luke was so protective of Rory, proving that he will make a great dad to Rory and husband to Lorelai.  Christopher needs to bud out and realize that Lorelai has someone in her life that she loves, and it's NOT him.

Loved Lorelai, standing next to Emily,

"You and me.  We're done."

And Emily can't respond, or she'd make a scene.

Also:
Lorelai:  Grandma wants a picture.
Rory:  Of this?!

Did anyone notice how flakey Logan was for Rory to ask Logan to commit?  Maybe, flakey isn't the word for it.  I dunno.   Personally, I think anyone who is not willing to commit is not worth becoming close to even as a friend if you know that you are putting yourself in the danger of becoming attached because you know you can't help it.  I know that he said he would (now, I haven't seen season 6 yet, so I don't know what's up with their relationship) but knowing Rory, she's so innocent when it comes to relationships, she's so into the bf/gf thing that I really think Logan has a major chance of really hurting her.  However, she is growing up, too.  What do you think?

Regarind the Emily/Lorelai issue...
I was like "you go girl!"...she did deserve it, especially, that we all know that Luke is Lorelai's destiny, but then I really felt bad for Emily.

PS - Jess, come baaaaaackkk!  Cry

I find it interesting that everything that happens in that episode is driven by Christopher.  Chris plants the idea in Rory's head to just go after a guy, Christopher starts yelling at Lorelai and all that is escalated after Christopher finds out about Rory and Logan (which he started).  The Lorelai/Emiy rift occurs because of Christopher as does the Lorelai/Luke split.  I guess I never thought about it before, but Chris is really responsible for a lot of things in that episode, incluidng the new Rory/Logan pairing.
