If I remember "Dirty Dancing" correctly, the other resort is called The Shelldrake and thought it was a cute play on the film (with Kelly Bishop) to use that as the name of the couple that got bounced out of the same reception location that Emily & Richard wanted to use.

I never caught that!  Also, I think it was in Presenting Lorelai Gilmore, Lorelai quotes Dirty Dancing: "Nobody puts Baby in the corner," which in the movie, hints to Kelly Bishop's snobbery.

I cant beleive that Emily told Chris to go to the Wedding and mess everything up for Lorelai and Luke.
I was so mad at Emily when she did that!!

I love that song that Emily and Richard dance to at the reception.  That is one of my new fave songs!

And I loved Emily's new found love to 'rum and coke' in this episode that was hilarious! Grin

I'm pretty sure the song is actually called Wedding Bell Blues by The 5th Dimension.  This may be wrong but I have some unusual information floating around in this head of mine Tongue

I watched this epi last night for the first time! My word! Ok all the typical exciting feuds between Lor and Emily and Christopher were exciting, but the whole scene with Logan and Rory. That was so amazing! Ok, they did the typical 360degree swing shot around them, but it really worked! I was moved! It was oddly romantic! hehe

Even my mom who was a die-hard Emily fan was like "Bitch," after she saw what Emily did and how she acted toward Luke.
I love when Lorelai is pouring Emily's drink and she pours a little rum in, looks over, then pours some more, hah i loved that!

Jerk!  Christopher is a jerk!  Regardless that Emily came to his house, he was still the one who initiated everything.

Although I am so mad at Emily too, Lorelai's an adult, she can figure out her own life.  Lorelai and Christopher are not "destined" to be together.

I didn't like how Rory was just like "I want to know what it's like" and then she just lets herself go.  If Lorelai wouldn't have walked in on them she could've ended up sleeping with Logan and then things could've been so different, so I'm glad Lorelai did walk in on them and catch it before Rory went too far.  She could've made huge mistakes there.  But I loved her as best man.

Yay Richard and Emily!!

I loved how the bacholorette party was thrown on Lorelai, and the pasta.  And I love how both Richard and Emily always kept acting like it was their first wedding, when it was their second.

Lots of great quotes in this episode though.  Overall, it made me mad, but it was so good.
