5.13 - Wedding Bell Blues

I loved this episode more than almost all of them.  It truly has everything in it, and great acting on everybodies part.  I could echo a lot of what has been previously said in this thread but instead just want to point out, that all 4 times that I have watched this episode, it throws me (in a good way) that even though rory had recently made good with christopher, she was concerned about Lukes reaction, not christopher's, when they walk in on her and logan.  This, in my opinion, speaks volumes about where rory feels her security comes from when concerning the adults in her life.

I really enjoyed this episode because it shows how important Rory is to Luke but I also felt sorry for Logan because he had two men that wanted to kill him

that was a good one.  i like how rory and logan are getting together  there are some cute couple.

I agree I think Logan is a great person in Rory's life I love them together it is awesome!!

I want to say something about Chris breaking Lorelai and Luke up.  I know everyone thinks he's evil and a villan for doing that, but think about Max.  Rory thought Lorelai cancelled the wedding because of Chris, but we all know it was because of Luke.  He went on and on about the way marriage is stupid, blah, blah, blah.  Although he did sort of say he took it back later, he was still going on and on and on about how you have to find the right person, etc.  So although he was way less forward and confrontational about it, he did try (and succed) to break Lorelai and Max up.

good point! i never made that connection until now.

this is one of my favorite episodes. it had drama and comedy and it was just a great 100th episode. I love how the Rory/Logan relationship started, and when Emily told Luke you congratulate the groom and give best wishes to the bride lol. Emily in her true form, gotta love it!

before when i saw this episode i didn't like logan for rory.i don't know why i just thought she'd be better off with him and then in the later season i started to like him for rory.you could tell he liked her so much. But i don't think ror should've agreed on not being boyfriends and girlfriend and have just a fling because thats not her. i didn't like what christopher did when he broke up lorelai and luke. they're perfect for each other

i love this episode. Emily was absolutely horrendous. She does care about Lorelai, I think, and she thinks she knows whats best f or her. But the thing is, she doesnt. She thinks Chris will be better for Lorelai. Thats why she made that interference. Now, dont kill me, but Emily is one of my favorite characters on this show. Shes the person i love to hate. I sort of think of her as a strong voice of reality.

This episode really makes me want to do something bad to Emily. She is.......(insert profanity or two). Chris has had TWO chances and he blew them both. I understand he had too much to drink but he shouldn't have come at all!

What an episode!! I just watched it on my dvd and boy was it explosive. I felt so sorry for Lorelai as she hardly played any part in the arguements and break up.

Even though Emily was trying to do what she thought was the best for Lorelai, she did it in the wrong way and it totally backfired.

I'm glad Lorelai told Emily where to go at the end of this episode.

This episode is officially my fave, and the next one too (Say Something)!

OMG.....i dont even have the words......luke and cris wow....totally out of the blue.....and emily...oh that crazy emily.... i hate her sooooooo much ...once again i say y does she interfer....i mean if lorelai id happy with luke jst leave them alone....oh and that was cute what rory sed....its like she asked him out....logan the poor thing was so scraed when cris and luke started yelling at him....thay had the right....but cris...i mean i cany hate cris....but if rory told him that lorelai is with someone and shes happy....so even though emily told him to come to the wedding....if he really cared 4 lorelai...then he shouldnt have gone....but i understand that he wants to be with lorelai but like rory said he had so many chances but he blew them all.....

I thought it was funny ,Emily getting drunk ( at her bachlorette party) that is so not like her!!!
the ending was a sad for Luke and Lorelai..
but it was good for Rory and Logan !!
