Youre profile says youre 12 and you had a boyfriend a year ago? Was I a slow developer or something because I had my first boyfriend when I was 18 and wouldnt have even considered a boyfriend before that! I hate to wonder what a relationship involves at the age of 12!

well, im 12 and we don't think boys have germs. i actully have more guy friends than girls. a lot of people have guy friends but i do agree we shouldn't have "boy friends" at 12. i know pwofluv in person we go way back and honestly, it gets annyoing sometimes. like all these people my age kissing in the hallways cussing too and hate it! im the only person at my school who thinks this is true. sure pretend and go along with it and i've gone on a"date." but thats when i was younger and stupid. i would like to start dating at 15 but right now, its nice to be a kid.

And i have a boyfriend... and i honestly can't remember the last time i thought boys had cooties.
I do consider him to be my boyfriend, we have gone out on dates and no that is not just "hanging out" I wouldn't say i am still a "kid" but i'm not an adult either. (wow, creepy britney spears song reference just came into my head)
For now having a "boyfriend" is nothing more than having someone to hang out with and having someone to always talk too and such of that nature...

yeah, there were people who had boyfriends in like 3rd grade. but as 7th graders, we usually just hang out with our boyfriends. hugs and lip-pecks are about the only physical stuff. (although i'm still waiting for the perfect first kiss.) boyfriends right now are basically just best friends that you think are totally hot.

I know people who had boyfriends way before they were 12 so Pwrofluv is in good shape.

it's ok. i wasn't freaked out or anything. i just...ugh. i don't think i've ever wanted a guy this much before.

Wow! I really must be some kind of promiscuous tramp with the number of guys I have hung out with and talked to!!! Come to think of it, I am also a two-timer and I have stolen my best friends boyfriend!!! 'Hanging out' does not a boyfriend make. I think you should just be comfortable having a male friend and not try to label it. I think gg crazy is incredibly mature for her decision, more mature than the kids kissing in the corridor, thats gross. I have a ten year old sister and I would punch out any boy who considered laying his hands on her. Enjoy your childhood, you only have one! You may think having a boyfriend is cool now but there is every chance you will regret it when you look back on today.

yeah, i suppose you're right. but it's not like i only want one because everyone else has one. actually right now, basically everyone's single. but whether everyone likes it or not, i just like guys. some of my friends or ex-friends think that i flirt all the time and i don't! i can't help it that sometimes guys are much more awesome than girls. probably because with them, you don't have to pretend to be anything. you can be as stupid as you want and they won't care. that's why i have so many guy friends. but i really only "like" 2 of them. but sometimes my friend will say,"erica, you seemed very flirty at lunch today," and all i did was give a few guys high fives!
just letting everyone know, that  semi-blow up was not meant towards anyone on here. it was for my ex-best friend hailey, who stopped being my friend because she thought i was too "flirtacious" as she put it.

but on a happier note, i get to spend halloween with my bff allison and logan!!! i'm excited!

A high five wont get you pregnant so I think you are safe. Just remember to protect your reputation. If you go through boyfriends at a rate of knots, regardless of what you are or are not doing with them, people talk. Teenagers are bitchy and dont wait to get their facts straight before they start spreading rumours and you could be totally innocent but you can still get yourself into trouble. In the end guys will have more respect for a girl who hasnt dated every hot guy in class.

i don't think you have to worry about that! several guys have liked me the past year, but i've only dated one of them. i don't really go after guys. i'm more the kinda person that sits back and dreams that he'll notice me.
