I agree with ya ggcrazy. She has something that makes her stand out and that allows her to make her mark in the music industry. I think that people should expand their musical interests and try new music. I have come to find, by doing so, that I love many genres of music.

Just realized or figured out who Lady Gaga was about two weeks ago...! ha! She's a lot of show, for sure! I don't know how I feel about her music, saw a video of her singing and playing the piano at a high school talent show...not terrible, but totally different singing style and song than that which she performs today. Wonder how old she is, can't be that old. She's a lot less attractive than I would imagine...I was surprised. Not that that means anything...
Right now listening to The Muse, Sonata Arctica (like always), AFI, Pink (as always), and Janis Joplin!! haha!
Really wanting to find some new music...the itch is here again.

Right now, as of 2010... this is what I'm listening to.
Yeasayer-
Odd Blood
Beach House-
Teen Dream
Hot Chip-
One Life Stand
Four Tet-
There Is Love in You
Pantha Du Prince-
Black Noise
(as of right now for the first time and it's really good)
The Magnetic Fields-
Realism
Massive Attack-
Heligoland
Pretty much anything outside of the mainstream. Today's mainstream music is truly awful. Prime example is that awful remake of "We Are The World". I couldn't get past Justin Beiber singing. He's awful. Believe me, a lot of the young stars you see in that video you will never see again in 10 years.

Lady Gaga is hardly original, ask Roisin Murphy.
Anyway, Sade is back and I'm thrilled.

No one can't stop listening to Bowie unless it's mid-late 80s Bowie. That was a terrible period.
