Hah. Yeah the no picture thing is lame.
But I have a dent in the side of my camera and it forever reminds me of the day I went to the set.
Cause my mom and I were sneaking around snapping pics in Lukes etc. like an hour before my dad shot Joey...and my dad was busy talking to the security gaurd pretending to be lost and not know how to find his way back to the Joey soundstage....and then we were like in the gazebo and a DIFFERENT security gaurd starts coming over to us and my mom got so freaked out that she tried to but the camera in her pocket...and missed...and it hit the ground...hahahah and now I have a dent in the side of it.
LOL. Catch any of that?

I was supposed to go to LA earlier this month to see the set, however, things fell through and I wasn't able to.  Stupid expensive plane tickets in the middle of Spring Break season.  Well, I'm praying that with a season 8 I'll be in LA at some point, (I have a friend moving out there) and I'll be at the set during a season 8!  (I can pray and hope right?)

I have been on the tour once before. It was awesome. Hehe I took a picture I wasn't supposed to take.
I am definitely going back out there when/if season 8 starts to film.

I am new to this site, but I got looking around and noticed you guys were talking about visiting the sets. A yr ago this past march I was at WB and I got to see the set for the Emily and Richards house, I was able to see the outside set for Lorelai's house, Sookie's house, and the Kim house. I saw Stars hollow from afar, we were not allowed to go over there bc they were fliming a wedding. He couldnt say whos wedding but I now know it was Lane and Zacks wedding. As we were going though the lot we pased a bunch of star wagons where the stars hang out between shoot and stuff and I saw matt reading his scrip, and Scott road his bike right past me and smiled and waved at me. Unfortanly we were moving to quickly for us to have stoped bc by the time our gide had noticed I had seen someone, Scott was gone so we couldnt got back for me to meet him. Plus he looked like he was due on set. But I do recomend to anyone who is in the La area to go on a tour. Anyone with state used ID can go on a tour and its worth the $35 something for it....Trust me!

I think it would be awesome to see the Gilmore Girls set! Does anybody know of a web site or something like that that tells you about it, or give you information on how to go there and get in and look  at it?

How would you do that?

I went there and it says that there are not anymore tickets available for next fall (yes I'm planning on going once the Girls come back for season 8! - the power or positive thinking baby!). Anyway, does anyone know if it's just too early to buy for next fall or if they really are sold out already?

**(I know I've said it on here before bur for those who haven't read it, I am a flight attendant) Ok, so I just found out that the hotel we stay at in Burbank is 2.7 miles from the Warner brother lot......2.7 I am so going on a tour the next time I have a long enough overnight in Burbank! And I will go on one next fall when they are filming season 8!***

From what I understand it's just too early to buy them.  Most of the tickets are avaliable same day.  You just walk in a purchase.  I doubt that they would have them this early...huh though.  I'll have to look into that some.

Just wondering, if finally we get Season 8 when would it start filming and when would it end?
I'm staying in the States from August 2007 till February 2008.Hopefully I'll take a trip to L.A this August,is there any chance that if we get S8,they'll be filming by then?
Hope someone can help me!
Thanks

If you go to the WB studios you will recognioze Stars Hollow because of the square and the gazebo but now there are no more traces of GG. The set is now used for others tv series so it is totally different.
